For some people, it's easy to justify their mass slaughter of civilians in Gaza by the terrorism and murder against Israeli citizens on October 7th, but this response of leveling congested and overcrowded neighborhood after congested and overcrowded neighborhood has led to over 30,000 civilian deaths of many women and children.

People who have seen the images of the dead and wounded children and the rubble of one block after another know that, for the citizens of Gaza, their future looks far worse than before the war started, and most felt imprisoned before the war began. Most had homes then, and most don't have homes anymore.

Israel's actions have had no moral calculus and future planning attached to them, it has been a scorched earth policy. This lack of foresight about the future of Gaza has made a bad situation far worse, even if they are successful in eliminating Hamas, which will only be replaced by someone else.
