It’s Time for an Outright Ban on the Promotion of Atheism.

Nutjob, the First Amendment is not getting "tweaked" to make this country a theocracy. We gave that up in the 18th century.
Unfortunately, the founders didn't foresee atheism would be declared a religion by the Supreme Court, and that it would become the de facto religion of the country by default. That's why the First Amendment needs to be amended; to accomodate for that miscalculation.

The true effect of the First Amendment has been "Atheism will be the established religion of the United States". Few Americans would want that. And that's how it needs to be presented to them.

You don't get to control your neighbors.

Where did He mention what? Jesus tapped St. Peter to lead His Church. Peter was the first of an unbroken line of popes that survives to this day.
Uniquely the position of the Roman Church, perpetuated by that church for that church and in opposition to all others. Having to believe in other than Jesus for "salvation" is antithetical to the message Jesus taught.

They don't believe in an other for salvation.

We aren't believing in something other than Jesus' teachings.

The attack on Ukraine is suppored by the Russian Orthodox Church. Tell me again about the civilising influence of the Good Book.
Religions being essentially political organizations, one cannot hold the tenets upon which they claim to be founded responsible for their Machiavellian conduct.

They said the same about the repeal of Roe v. Wade not having a chance. Now look where we are. Good ideas originate somewhere.

Has Roe v. Wade been repealed?

And no, there is a huge difference between repealing a single ruling and having 38 out of 50 states ratifying making the US a theocracy.

Jesus currently speaks through the Magisterium of the Church He established. Jesus didn't stop teaching 2000 years ago.
Expecting people to believe what one says Jesus says rather than believing what Jesus says is expecting too much.

Yeah, I mean, if your religion involves killing people, that's not where we should be going. Muslims who want to kill infidels would have the same problem in my proposal.
So now you want to ban Judaism and Islam.

The federal government is currently forcing Catholics and every other taxpayer to pay for abortion, which is a godless (atheist) practice.
Its been around since the dawn of time and common in all religions. Best done in a secure environment to ensure the woman is safe.

You will be aware that catholic women used to take it up the arse to prevent pregnancy. Is that OK with the big guy ?

That's false. The RCC is not a political organization in terms of its teachings.

Notice nothing in your commentary about the baby human being kept 'safe'. And that's where your argument errs.
