The problem with true conservatives is that even Republicans won't vote for them
then how do you explain the congressional elections of 2010? you need to face reality, RW, you are not mainstream, you are far left. When Rand Paul gets a standing ovation at Cal Berkley, the most liberal college in the world, the tide has turned. Our young people want their chance at success, they realize that liberalism will doom them to mediocrity and are rejecting it.
Gerrymandering
Conservatives cannot even win the GOP nomination, let alone a Presidential election. But they do a great job in ruining any chance a moderate Republicans have of winning
A moderate Republican can beat a moderate Democrat
A conservative Republican cannot beat a moderate Democrat
When Republicans abandon the middle, they leave it to the Democrats

the country is screwed up right now because of "moderates". We either need to return to the constitution, individual freedom, and limited government, or, decide that we want to live in a socialist country where the elites in DC control our every act and thought.
That is the choice for 2016. More "moderation" will only make things worse.
So such things as following the constitution, enforcing the laws as written, smaller government and balancing the budget are *EXTREMIST?*Gerrymandering

You guys make me sick with your assumptions that you are the only true "patriots" and you are the only ones following the Constitution. "Freedom" and "Liberty" are not values exclusive to conservatives....in fact, nothing could be further from the truth
It is just childlike whining because the rest of the country does not support your extremist positions
So what the OP is saying is that one by one the electable Republicans are going to let themselves be knocked out of contention, in the primaries, by the extremists on the Right?
Sounds good.
What it says is that the RNC should not run another RINO or a dem with an R behind his name.
Romney lost because too many conservatives and republicans saw him as a RINO. The country needs a real choice in 16-------a true conservative constitutionalist or the marxist collectivist liberal big-government liar Hillary.
The next president of America WILL BE... either Ted Cruz or Rand Paul.
Conservatives have HAD IT with RINO's and dem lites, and without the conservative vote, there will NOT be an R in the white house.

Neither is capable of winning a swing state and both would probably lose some formerly red states
It just isn't enough to toe the company line - it takes brains to be a president - not catchy one-liners.

Both are leading the polls and are scorching hot in popularity with conservatives and libertarians, which more and more people are leaning toward.
Sorry you don't like to hear that but, you're just going to have to find a way to deal with the truth.
Both are capable of moving into the white house, and together stand an even better chance.
The left has no one to run, period, NO ONE, and if they're going to pin all their hopes on hitlery, they're fucked.Neither is capable of winning a swing state and both would probably lose some formerly red states

Conservatives and Libertarians already vote Republican. Either Cruz or Paul would lose North Carolina and probably Georgia and lead to a landslide Democratic win (380 electoral votes or higher)
Winning the Presidency is not about an ideology but winning electoral votes. Paul and Cruz have no pull in swing states. Lose the middle in swing states and you don't have a chance

People will vote AGAINST hitlery or some other POS leftist as willingly as they'll vote FOR Cruz and/or Paul.
No matter how you slice it, the left is going to get their asses kicked bad in '16.
Just wait and see what happens later this year... people are FED UP with DEMOCRATS!
The next president of America WILL BE... either Ted Cruz or Rand Paul, or possibly the two of then on the same ticket as P/VP.
