Jesus is God

One thing he fails to mention is that Jesus volunteered to die for our sins. He makes it seen that Jesus was told to go against His will. This guy is an idiot. And you're a bigger idiot for listening to him.

try again-------nowhere in the NT is there a suggestion that Jesus applied for the position------IN FACT----there is an accusation that his whereabouts was SNITCHED by the
eternal snitch -----judas
The Bible teaches that Jesus died for us because He loves us. Jesus died for us out of love. That's a fact. Love cannot be compelled. You are an idiot.

where in the bible does it "teach" that? As far as the "CHURCH" was concerned for more than 1000 years---YOUR BIBLE taught that it is a wonderful idea to murder anyone who did not LICK YOUR SHIT
Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her” (Ephesians 5:25). Any other stupid questions?

so? Epesians was written by a man named PAUL----a greek whose parents were converts to Judaism-----and neither they nor paul ever met Jesus
Wrong again. Paul met Jesus on the road to Damascus. The other Apostles considered him an Apostle of Christ. To deny this passage of Scripture is to deny the that the Bible is the word of God. You cannot pick and choose what parts of the Bible to believe. Paul was a servant of Christ. He died because of it. Who are you to question Scripture? You're nobody. Time to put you where you belong...On my ignore list.

Jesus loves only the elect, and he died for only the elect.

Did you even read what you are replying to? The Jews stated why they wanted to stone Jesus. Because He claimed equality with God. It's right there in black and white. Jesus claimed equality with God. If you do not believe this, then where does your Salvation come from?

Yes, the Jews killed Jesus for equating himself with God. But, the lying Jews encouraged the Romans to carry out the execution by telling the Romans that Jesus was a political rival to Roman authority. Still, the Roman authorities found no fault in Jesus.

Jesus love everyone who hasn't rejected Him. Remember. Jesus commendeth His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

I'm not going to disagree with that, other than to point out your proof isn't proof. Jesus loves us now, and died for us while we were, in the past, sinners. Your verse only supports that Jesus loves us now as ex-sinners, but not loving us when we were sinners.

The elect all accept Christ, with or without knowledge of the details of Christianity. The non-elect just make overt their rejection of Christ when they are formally offered Christ.

Excuse me. What part of "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Didn't you understand? He would not have died for sinners if He didn't love them. In fact, Jesus loves us so much that if there was just one person alive on this planet, and they were a sinner, He would have died for them.

What don't you understand: "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" NOT "While we were yet sinners, Christ loved us"?

Why would He die for us if He didn't love us?

Here is the whole verse again...

And God commendeth His LOVE towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

You still lack reading comprehension. The verse doesn't say he loved us while we were sinners. You to twist verses to make them say things they don't say while you ignore numerous verses that directly contradict you. Psalm 5:5b "You hate all evildoers [sinners]."

Christ died for all sinners. He did it because he loved them. That's what Scripture teaches.

No, Jesus didn't die for all sinners. That's not what scripture teaches. You twist verses.

Why would He die for us if He didn't love us?

God chose to love the elect, so he took away their sin so that he could love them.

Jesus died for sinners. This is a fact. Why would He do that if He didn't love them?

Everyone is a sinner. Even Christians. So your reference to Psalms implies that Jesus hates everyone. And evildoers refers to those who delight in evil. Jesus did not die for the righteous. He died for sinners. He did it because He loves them.

Christians are not sinners. Even the verse you've been repeating implies this, "were sinners". Yes, Jesus came for sinners, to take away their sin, not to love them in their sin.

Everyone is a sinner. Christians still sin. Everyone does, no matter how hard they try to avoid it. The only difference is that Christians have been forgiven.

You're a Calvinist? Your belief is simply false, and demonstrably so. I'm not even going to bother getting into a debate on this though, at least not right now.

What's the difference between being without sin and being forgiven?

If you don't know the difference, then you shouldn't be discussing this.
