The United States of America allows nearly a million people a year to join us and become citizens. We offer green cards, work permits, Visa's for those that can't or don't want to become citizens, solely to share our good fortunes with people outside our country. This is on top of the billions of dollars we provide for foreign aid, and the dozens of charities dedicated to world health and hunger.

But we should be the ones apologizing?

Your numbers are off according to right-wing New York Times. Here is what they wrote:

Hiring Slowed in August, but Wage Gains Accelerated

And if you look at their chart, August of 18 was slow as well, about tied for the hiring this August.
