Joe Biden promised to 'end Covid", but just declared it a "national emergency"

It's not unconstitutional. It is fiscally irresponsible. And it doesn't address the overall issue of ballooning student loan debt and loan predation.
What happened was fulfilling a campaign promise...albeit ham-handed.

It IS un-Constitutional. The President can't decide to write off 100s of Billions of debt on loans in an ONGOING program without CONGRESSIONAL approval. HE doesn't control the "purse". Congress does. See my post above as to what vital stuff you MISSED in the Opost.
