I agree with mudwhistle that assholes who basically just want to say “Fuck You” to everybody don’t need 140 or 180 characters to do it. I never use Twitter. I also agree with him that Facebook is really best just for staying in touch with family and friends. It’s a bad place for serious discussions, mostly because its editing functions are so terrible. Of course if you choose your friends carefully, and haven’t too many idiots in the family, friends can alert you to valuable resources about events, culture, etc.

I am not happy about the increasing censorship practiced by big social media, however. It is dangerous and will inevitably be used against many who are fully responsible opponents of the liberal corporate so-called “consensus.” Temporary “emergency measures” have a tendency to become permanent.

The lunatic attack on Congress will inevitably have results like the attack on the Twin Towers had. Government buildings will become more fortified, and the U.S. “security state” will be strengthened. Very dangerous. This shows again how seriously Trump’s lying demagogy — and the stupidity of his fanatic followers — have hurt our nation.

If your pretense is correct, Loser certainly gave Twitter sufficient reason when, after repeatedly promulgating self-serving lies that attacked our democratic system, he incited an insurrection against the United States.

The reality is that he lost an election that four years of public disapproval in poll after poll led rational folks to expect him to lose. Braying that he won in a landslide is nonsense. Taking away his tantrum toy safeguards the nation.

I was wondering what form the attack on the 2nd Amendment would be.....and like your typical socialist/totalitarian government...Democrats are running around Washington trying to remove the president and remove him from the public discourse. The House has already submitted a new bill to require gun and ammo registration....and then confiscation will be soon to follow.
Peaceful governments don't feel they have to censor speech and the right to bear arms. Only dictatorships do.
