Woke NYC judge has been removed from criminal cases
Bronx Supreme Court Justice Naita Semaj is expected to switch from criminal to civil courts, according to reports. Semaj has received backlash for her lenient court rulings.
It is a fascinating reprimand from a liberal court system.
16 year old kid allegedly the shooter of a cop. Kid goes to court and judge — yep — lets the kid out without having to post any bail … even when the fucked-up fairly new NY State bail laws don’t require that such a suspect be freed without a monetary bail.
Worse yet, she eventually dropped the case against the little thug on the basis of her findings that the cops had no reason to search him. Even if true, how that allows the kid to shoot the cop isn’t clear. And the kid was on probation for … (you guessed it) a prior gun case.
This decision was the judge’s alone.
But the NY Office of Court Administration or the presiding Justice of the Supreme Court in Manhattan put her out of such harm’s way by dumping her back into the civil side.
