They had 2-1/2 years to go digging-around to accumulate the evidence that they, in turn, used to prepare.

It is unlikely in the extreme that a massive trial of this magnitude (Constitutionally, politically, historically and legally) will be “ready” for trial that soon. But the judge’s very biased agenda is crystal clear. And it’s unacceptable.

(Since this trial is far more about politics than justice, I chose the politics forum).

This is not a complicated court case.

One, Trump is being charged alone... not with co conspirators which makes it much much easier with fewer defendants and all of their lawyer motions.

Two, it doesn't involve top secret classified documents and a lawyer clearance ....for all other defendants too, and SCIF viewing ONLY kind of things like in the Mara Lago case.

The Georgia case has 19 defendants and it could take a few years to work through all of them

The N.Y. State Case in March should be pushed out because it is not nearly as important as the 2020 election subversion by Trump trial.

Federal cases take priority, generally, due to the Supremacy Clause.

All the cases are bullahit.

But it takes time to prepare when the regime comes gunning for your client. And with all due respect, the issue has nothing whatsoever to do with whether you imagine that the case is or is not complicated.
