He blamed him for his party leadership issues, but is a big fan of his presidency. Somewhat ironic I suppose.

His legacy shouldn't be connected to the failures of his greater party. He lives in the United States of America, that should be how his legacy is judged, his eight years in office administrating and using his executive powers. Now that is a debate that can be had.
