Kim Davis needs to go to jail

YAWN

Kim Davis needs to be fired. why do you Prog NAZIS want to throw people in prison?

by your own logic many obama administration officials belong in prison for using the enormous power of federal agencies to abuse people that disagree with left-wing ideology
Sigh. As has been pointed out MANY times, she is an elected official. She can quit, but she cannot be fired....only impeached.

YAWN

leftard, the point was why prison, which is what the OP demands

quiet, troll.

That's how they are... all opposition must be jailed/eliminated.

Some people still buck the the civil rights law of 1964 , and it has been 50 years...I feel this will be an ongoing problem.

There is still a significant part of our country that would ban interracial marriages if they could

Really? And of course you have numbers to back this up, right?

13% of people admit to opposing inter-racial marriage.

In U.S., 87% Approve of Black-White Marriage, vs. 4% in 1958

violation of a court order is contempt of court and subject to jail and a fine.

you're welcome.

When you violate the Order of a Court, in letter and principal, you need to go to jail.

kim "sanctity of marriage but married four times" walker, doesn't understand the English language or the fact that when the Court tells you to do something... you do it.

loon.....

Kim Davis went back to work as a Kentucky county clerk last week after a stint in jail and a pledge that she wouldn't interfere with deputies who were issuing wedding licenses to same-sex couples.

But in a court motion filed Monday, the American Civil Liberties Union said that she was doing just that.

After returning to her job on Sept. 14 as the Rowan County clerk, the filing said, Davis "immediately" began meddling with licenses that the office's deputy clerk, Brian Mason, was issuing.

and no... no religion requires you to be a bigot... and if she can't do her job, the wacko bird, hypocritt needs to quit.

No you don't. The court just made the law out of thin air. You should know that.

Actually no. The supreme court didn't create any law. So stop lying.

All the supreme court did was strike down unconstitutional laws.

The constitution already gives homosexuals the right to marry. No law had to be written for them to have that right.

However a law had to be written to deny them that right. So that's just further proof that the constitution gives homosexuals the same rights as heterosexuals.

Look up the 14th Amendment. It's there plain as day.

You don't have to like it. You don't have to agree with it. You do have to accept it.

I'd say 87% is a pretty significant number and of the 13%.... who's to say that number is 100% opposed? Anyway, I'd hardly say 13% is significant... rather insignificant actually.

The entire population of blacks in this country is 13%.

That's about 45 million.

Lots of people wouldn't call that insignificant.

There's this too: when Loving v Virginia was ruled, only 20% approved of interracial marriage. It wouldn't be till more than 20 years later, that % reached over 50% approval.

How can the federal government regulate something that does NOT exist. According to everything I have read, DOMA was the only federal law that defined marriage, as between one man and one woman. States followed suit and passed their own laws that defined marriage as that as well.

The President refused to enforce this law, and the USSC struck it down as 'Un-Constitutional'...forcing people to recognize same-sex unions as 'marriage'. WRONG! Since the ONLY definition of 'marriage' was identified as being between one man and one woman, striking that down did not replace it with any other definition. The USSC just said THAT definition is not the legally acceptable one'. Not being able to write / create law their decision did NOT classify unions of same-sex couples as 'marriage'.

Basically their decision stated a union between a man and woman can NOT be the only acceptable definition....but did not define what 'marriage' - an acceptable marriage - is by definition. No law has been written since DOMA that tries to address the USSC's ruling and to finally DEFINE what 'marriage' is.

1) So if there is no legal, 'acceptable' definition of 'marriage' HOW can the federal government officially regulate what doesn't exist / is not defined? In the absence of a federal law defining what a marriage is, they really shouldn't be in the 'marrying' business.

2) This ruling actually leaves the door open for any number of interpretations of 'marriage' then, from the 'conservative' to the extreme. With no legal (law) definition of 'marriage' the interpretation could be argued to mean one could marry their daughter, cousin, dog, a lampshade, etc....

Again, Obama and the USSC wiped out the only federal law, the only federal definition of 'marriage'. The USSC did not say what marriage IS, only that it could not be limited to one man and one woman.

Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis Is Meddling and Altering Marriage Licenses, ACLU Says

The judge who issued an order releasing her Tuesday attached a caveat Davis may not be willing to accept.

U.S. District Judge David Bunning ordered that Davis be released from jail -- five days after he sent her there -- saying he was satisfied that her deputies fulfilled their obligations to give marriage licenses to same-sex couples in her absence.

But Bunning's new order says Davis cannot interfere with her deputies issuing marriage licenses to all legally eligible couples.

That means Davis could find herself behind bars again if she does anything to prevent the marriages from taking place, CNN Senior Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin said.

"If Ms. Davis stops them from issuing licenses, then we are right back where we started," Toobin said. "And Judge Bunning has made it quite clear, he will lock her back up."

Name when Obama disregarded a court order. When was he ordered to do something or go to jail for refusing?

I will name you several:

1) Obama refused to obey a federal court order to end his ban on deep water drilling after the BP oil spill and was found GUILTY of Contempt of Court.
-- "The Obama Administration acted in contempt by continuing its deepwater-drilling moratorium after the policy was struck down, a New Orleans judge ruled."

2) Obama was Found in Contempt of Court for violating a Court Order regarding Obama's refusal to comply with an order regarding Obama's Un-Constitutional Amnesty given out to illegals.
-- "The Texas court that blocked Obama’s executive action on immigration has ordered the Justice Department to answer allegations the government misled him about part of the plan."

3) Obama was found in Contempt of Court for refusing to release correspondence between him and the DOJ during the on-going Fast and Furious scandal.
-- Obama has STILL not released all the documents. (Experts believe Obama is trying to 'run out the clock' on the scandal, to delay it until he leaves office. Remember, this scandal began in his 1st year in office - 7 YEARS ago!)

He did NOT go to jail - THAT'S THE PROBLEM! Several people have flat out declared - If you violate a Court Order then you should GO TO JAIL. Obama has violated at least 3 court orders and has been found GUILTY of Contempt of Court! If jail is good enough for Kim Davis for breaking the law / being in violation of Contempt of Court, Obama should have had his @$$ thrown in jail 3 (THREE) times already!

She is violating the Court Order, which as a condition on her release from the county lock she promised not to do.

Three Months in jail sounds right.

when a court issues an order and you violate it, you go to jail.

Obama doesn't...
Name when Obama disregarded a court order. When was he ordered to do something or go to jail for refusing?

He disregarded federal law and allowed colorado to supercede federal law without punishment. He has disregarded federal law on immigration.......... and on and on and on.

Three Months in jail sounds right.

3 Months in Jail for each violation of being in Contempt of Court? Obama has been found guilty of such 3 times....9 months in Jail 'sounds about right', and having him in jail for that long would limit the amount of continued damage to this country he could still do!

She is just following the example set by her Commander and Chief.

Why is it to Liberals that when Obama decides he will not obey and enforce a law it's ok, but when anyone else does it...I mean, when a Conservative / Christian ... does it they have to be punished? The HYPOCRISY is MIND-NUMBING!

What I find hilarious is that gays can't even convince congress to pass legislation or amend the Constitution to give gays what they want. If gays can't even convince those whores in congress they have a long way to go with convincing the American people.

Davis, technically, is doing NOTHING Obama did not do.

hmm one is a lowly county clerk and the other is the President of the United States...

gee i wonder if their authority is even remotely comparable under the circumstances. :uhoh3:

Yeah, you run with that.
ages, and those on all rungs of the income ladder.

Nope.....Jill wants her to like it.

Jill wants her to follow the law.

Nope....you want her to kneel down and pay homage to your God....political -correctness.

obeying the supreme court is NOT political correctness, muddy.

you need to get your head straqight.
My head is straight.

We don't have to obey. Protest is a right we do have.
And the decision was faulty. You cannot write laws from the bench. That is what has been going on in this country for too long. Laws can only be written by the legislature, not activist judges or a criminal in the White House.
This is unsurprisingly ignorant, ridiculous, and wrong.

And he better get used to it because a Democrat President is going to put in two more liberal judges and a generation of Liberal decisions are coming...
We will be f*cking Mudwhistle up the ass for a long time...
