This is a profiteerism-parable inspired by the capitalism-wartime film Three Kings.

Cheers,

Kingpin had become America's most nefarious urban crime-boss, establishing a narcotics-labyrinth that stretched from Hong Kong to Boston, a black market munitions operation in Moscow which funded guns to the IRA and ISIS, a politics-corruption 'cabinet' in Tijuana (Mexico), and even a pirate-TV network in Egypt which broadcasted his special 'capitalism-profiteer' speeches. Kingpin's headquarter was in NYC, but he had 'bases' in LA and Miami as well. Now, he wanted to invest in baseball cards!

Kingpin was given the lucrative offer to make a special 'under-the-table' deal with OPEC after the Gulf War (when he was only 20 and rising to power and making underworld politics-corruption 'deals' with Sunnis and Shiites operating in Iraq after the surrender of Saddam Hussein), but he opted instead to invest in narcotics. He never looked back, thinking petroleum was best left in the 'realm/dominion' of politicians and 'diplomats.' No, Kingpin loved money for money's sake, and he was a huge fan of Bill Gates, Andrew Carnegie, and Al Capone.

Kingpin was given a special Upper Deck chest of valuable baseball cards from the 1990s, which included many interesting rookie-cards. He decided to also purchase a chest of Donruss cards, and he purchased a Donruss Chase Utley rookie-card for his son Damien who was a big fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. Kingpin was also given a nice Kirby Puckett Upper Deck card by a descendant of the iconic/famous Latin-American drug-lord Pablo Escobar. Kingpin loved his new cards and considered them symbolic 'testaments' of his forays into capitalism and profiteerism.

Kingpin realized that crime is challenging, but capitalism offers all kinds of 'rewarding factorial branches' in the emerged global market of trade-based 'etiquette.' Yes, he had become a 'president' of his own 'underworld society.' However, he started becoming more and more obsessed with his baseball cards, particularly his Upper Deck Kirby Puckett card, which featured the iconic African-American baseball player in his Minnesota Twin uniform and donning a very cheerful grin. Kingpin started fantasizing about becoming a baseball player and what his life would have been like had he become an athlete instead of a criminal. However, he said to himself, "The life of a capitalism-pirate is of course predestined!"
