LANDSLIDE: Trump 306 Electoral Votes vs 232 Clinton Electoral Votes (Embrace the BlowOut)

Trump made changing blue into red look almost easy at the end of the night!!!

This wasn’t a squeaker, this wasn’t even close. It was a blowout. That’s a whole lot of deplorables. The voiceless had their day. Today, America is great again. #AGA

[306 = 76% of the Electoral Vote!!!!]

DONALD TRUMP is the PRESIDENT-ELECT of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA, and he did it by COMPLETELY BLOWING UP the ELECTORAL MAP and all our projections and expectations....

Trump won his “must-win” states of Ohio, Florida and North Carolina in races that were called on Tuesday night.

He won his other apparent “must-win” state, blue-leaning swing state Pennsylvania, which was called for Trump early Wednesday morning.

Not stopping there, he won two states in which he didn’t even campaign until the final week of the 2016 election: Michigan and Wisconsin. These, like Pennsylvania, are states that have long eluded the GOP’s grasp and didn’t seem likely to be winnable for Trump.

All of this disproves the idea, which we and everyone else have espoused early and often, that TRUMP'S path to VICTORY was narrow.

It wasn't. It was broad. We were wrong. The polls were wrong. We fundamentally misunderstood this election.

We thought Hillary Clinton might be winning red states. But DONALD TRUMP WON BLUE STATES.

Snip

Trump won all of his "must-win" states, anyway, and then added some states that we barely gave him a chance in, proving that everything we thought we knew about the polls and the electoral map was wrong, wrong wrong.

I told these idiots that he would have a landslide. I based that on the 20000/200 poll.

I really suspect that he got the popular vote - last I'd checked three states were still out and Hillary only had like 600 on Trump in the popular vote.

More like up by 234,000.

The fact is more states put out more votes for Trump, California is what it is. Just how many states did Hildabeast win?
only in a libs mind, only there. they don't even know what a republic is.

Our system is antiquated.

Every other election in America, as far as I know, if you get the most votes, you win.

Now either the presidential race is doing it the wrong way, or all the other ones are doing it the wrong way.
dude, you have to learn what a republic is first. The country has always used electoral votes for president. sorry bubba. since it was formed as a republic. learn fking something.

I remember the good old days when the RWnuts said that Clinton's 92 win wasn't a 'real' victory because Clinton got less than a majority of the votes. Less than 50%.

So? same rules apply here? lol
Irrelevant

NOW you say it's irrelevant. NOW that the shoes on your other foot lol.
You are riding a fucking stinking dead horse pal.
The election is over. Trump won.
You can waste your life posting arguments about how what the color green is all you want.
NOBODY GIVES A SHIT!

Too many folks obsess over polls. I've always warned that polls often only reflect superficial celebrity-driven popularity competitions. And that renders the Popular Vote skewed and meaningless. It's only about the Electoral College. And popular polls are usually inaccurate in gauging it.

Turns out, Trump did win in a Landslide in the Electoral College. He would have even beaten Obama in 2012. So let this be a valuable lesson to all the Safe Space twits out there. Don't listen to celebrities, media, or wingnut Communist/Progressive college instructors. Think for yourself in the future.

Trump won because he won the union vote in Ohio and closed the gap on that vote in several other states.

You know, the unions? Those things that establishment conservatives want to demolish?

His win against Romney was pretty much a Landslide. He easily won the Electoral College. I'm not sure about the final numbers though. But it appears Trump's win over Clinton was even more of a blowout.

Landslide? With only 57%. Now if he had gotten above 67% now that would be a landslide. But the last time that happened was in 2008.

But this is what it is and to the victor goes the spoils. Good luck in your new Job Mr. Trump.

His hefty Electoral Vote total is very impressive. He beat Clinton very easily.

Turns out, Trump did win in a Landslide in the Electoral College. He would have even beaten Obama in 2012. So let this be a valuable lesson

2016 presidential election results

306? (maybe) to 232.

332 to 206.

Election Center 2008 - Election Results & Politics News from CNN.com

365 to 173.

Even in victory your gut is still lying to you. Looks like President Obama got an amazing amount of votes over what Mr. Trump got in both 2008 and 2012.
