De facto, these scriptures are illegal, as they are contrary to laws prohibiting propaganda of extremism. And besides, calls for the return of slavery are also extremely dubious from the point of view of the law.

A compromise must be found between believers and the people of the United States who adhere to the principles of legality and freedom.

The solution in editing the Scriptures to bring them into line with the law and the principles of a free society.

Huh? Being Jewish is illegal?
Here we are talking about religions based on the Abrahamic writings. Not only Judaism, but also Islam and Christianity.
It is not illegal to be a believer, but the scriptures themselves are illegal and must be changed.

Do you have Saturdays and Sundays off? Enjoy certain legal rights in court? Have Human Right defenders (this last group almost.non-existent in Atheist Canada)? Have a bevy of different charities you can donate to? Well, thank the Judeo-Christian followers who promoted these values based on religious text and obligations to God.

Nonsense, all these organizations can exist without religion

Christianity was bloody and criminal, it has nothing to do with charity

Give to those less fortunate than you. Love thy neigbour. Do unto others as you would they unto you. The world is better for religion as long as it isn't crusaded down peoples throats or extremists don't sabatoge Gods words and turn people into terrorists.

Like what is illegal that takes precedence over law?

I will not discuss your demagogy. The scriptures contain all the signs of extremism, and this must be addressed.
By the way, yes, the priests used "God" as an instrument of terror.

There are a lot of things, for example, calls for destruction on the basis of racial or religious affiliation, and so on. Such tests have already been done.

Oye….another Democrat bigot.

there are very few types of communication which are subject to prior restraint under American law. The bible does not do anything that would make it a priori unpublishable.

First of all, the US Constitution forbids any US laws based solely on religious dogma. So scripture is not a problem.

Second of all, it is not the government's place to rewrite the scripture. Or the Torah. Or the Quran.

Here's something you need to read if you are a United States of America citizen, rupol!2000:

The Constitution:

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

There is extremism, it has already been checked

This does not apply to the ban on propaganda of extremism.

Instead of Democrats seeking to ban the Bible (or rewrite it to their approval), maybe they should focus on getting books on how to perform oral sex out of the elementary school library.

Speech in the Holy Bible was acceptable when George Washington included his prayers found in every speech, letters and proclamations in his 8 years as President.
Speech in the Holy Bible can be spoken out loud or written and posted in public.
Just because the Democrat Party is on a destruction of the Founders' sayings, beliefs, and extreme brotherly love doesn't mean we cannot read the Bible scriptures in church school classrooms, no matter what you claim it is that offends.
