Lessons "learned" from today's MASSIVE demonstrations....

No president has ever had so much opposition after his first day in office......These demonstrations prove and will help prove 3 things:

1. The millions of protesters (from all over this country and all over the planet) CAN BE mobilized within a relatively short period of time.

2. All elected officials who are up for re-election in 2018 best take notice of how disgruntled the electorate currently is and you can safely bet that challengers for these seats in congress will readily report on whether incumbents are too spineless to oppose many of the policies that Trump has proposed (and will try to pass through congress.)

3. The demonstrations ALSO show that there may be massive "buyers' remorse" for many who, because of hatred toward Clinton, jumped from "the pan into the fire."

Press Secretary Spicer angrily tells us that Trump's speech yesterday was a masterful monologue aimed at unifying the country....Well, Mr. Spicer, I guess it didn't work too well.
yes. No other POTUS has faced the division of the country created by the previous POTUS.

No that was the GOP . And they opened the door for the Don to come in as a 3rd party rabble rouser .

I expect Spicer to be among the very first "casualty" of the Trump gang of deplorables.....
If Spicer wants to hold on to an ounce of dignity, he should quit instead of Trump ordering him to go out there an lie for him.
oy vey

You may want to live in your own reality. You don't get to demand others do so.

Trump knew that he could never beat Hillary or anyone within the Democrat Party....he knew that most of us were too smart to fall for a demagogue........

So, what did the Trumpster do?......Well, he opted for the dumber party full of racists and xenophobes and converted to the GOP where the opposition for nominees is always weak.

Well, right wingers, you can lull and fool yourselves into thinking that these massive demonstrations are just a bunch of silly liberals (some of your cohorts called these women, lesbians ...as if in their stupidity that was a slur.......cows, bitches, etc.)

Well, the price for such ignorance, misogyny and sexism will be very high.

They aren't a bunch of silly liberals? Really, Nat?

Trump went with the GOP because he was astute enough to realize that the Democratic Party had veered to the left and no longer represented the views of most Americans. So who's dumb?

What these demonstrations show is that the far left of the Democratic Party STILL doesn't "get it"! They've left Nancy Pelosi in charge of the House...Elizabeth Warren is their new champion and idiots like Jesse Jackson, Michael Moore and Ashley Judd speak for them...yet they think their unchanged messages will somehow persuade the voters to give them another chance to run the country!

Maybe Trump knows more about politics than you think. Those of us on the right understood the only reason DumBama became President is because he was black, spoke well, and dressed nice. Hillary is the exact opposite of Obama. If he was going to take a shot at being President, who better to run against than Hillary? She was his best shot.

It is statements like these that identify you as a partisan hack.

No president ever right. It is not like when Lincoln was elected there was a war or anything like that.

Liberals are irrelevant.....
They are now. And this is what is driving them bat shit crazy.
Libs became complacent in their belief that political power is a birthright for them.
The election of 2016 became a huge "what the hell just happened" moment

What happened is their leaders spent a lot of time lying to them the past several years. They told their base that the Republicans are a thing of the past; old white men that are dying off; the country is turning more and more progressive every day. Like all good sheep, they simply believed them.

The last three presidential wins for the Republicans showed these people their leaders were wrong. They lied to them. The Democrat leadership had to do something, so they told their sheep that no, they didn't lose, it's just that the Republicans cheated somehow.

This time is was Russia and Putin. Last time it was Diebold voting machines. The time before that, hanging chads, punch card ballots and the Supreme Court.

They could never tell their constituents the truth which is America rejects Socialism and Communism. As long as they can keep their sheep believing that, they will come out and vote for them. But when they lose, they react like we just witnessed.

Well obviously YOU are the dumb one.......If you nitwits "think" that Hillary Clinton was too "leftist", you've just proven who is truly dumb.

true......and to win the nomination, Trump HAD to go with the dumber party [the GOP] full of clueless nominees......Thanks for the support.

The Leftwing base has become completely unhinged at the behest of their leaders. There will be no cooperation, no reconciliation, they don't want it. Just look at the posts on this board. Even if they don't know it yet (and they don't) they, and these marchers will soon be advocating for the Gov control of everything they don't agree with. They'll advocate an abrogation of our rights because they absolutely think they know best about everything. They will come to see themselves as the answer to everything. Their leadership already sees everything this way. Soon, in my opinion in the not to distant future they'll begin advocating the very things they accuse Trump of, but they'll do it because it they think it will be for the greater good. Mark my words, they'll come.

Yes, and you people did such a fine job picking your nominee; one under FBI investigation and ton of baggage.

How "true"

Like your "right" to tell women what to do with their bodies
Like your "right" to tell women they MUST accept lower pay than men.
Like your "right" to tell minorities that they're a burden on your claims of white omnipotence

Shove those rights right up your fat arse.
