The Murdoch Family actually only own about 12% of Fox, but they own 39% of the voting shares. Include the shares owned by the prince and that brings the total to 46%. Include the fact the Murdoch Family owns on equal stake in the prince's media conglomerate and their fortunes are very entwined. And with a company as large as Fox, 46% could never be over come. Not like 39%.
