Liberals and unions at their finest

in the 1920's and 1930's that was true. Today we have laws on all of those things.

So you trust the government to stay on top of labor laws?

Yes, and if they do not we could see a resurgence of the union movement. Today unions are not needed, all they are is collection agencies for the democrat party.

Are you happy having your dues sent to political candidates that you might not support?

We already have a shrinking middle class that not so coincidentally happens at the same time unionization is shrinking and I support my union backing pro union politicians seems like a no brainer when big business can funnel money to politicians that will back them.

OK, if anyone wants to see what unions and liberals can do to a city, take a look at Detroit. That once great city has been destroyed by greedy union bosses and corrupt liberal politicians.

Is that what you liberals want for the entire country?

NYC is a big union town and things are going great here.

Just don't try to buy a big soft drink, or say anything negative about a muslim, or own a gun.

But I was talking about Detroit, once a great city, now a hellhole, the direct result of liberal government and unions. Chicago is next, then Philly, Newark already sucks.

NYC is unique but you better watch out, your idiot mayor is doing his best to ruin that great city.

Thats some funny shit. 389 per 100,000 vs 412 per 100,000. BFD. The headline is totally stupid when you look at the data.

The former leader of the city's 20,000 union carpenters stood up in court last week and confessed to a lie that goes back 16 years. Michael Forde, 55, wore a black suit for his appearance in federal court on Pearl Street. This was appropriate attire for someone giving his own eulogy as a union man.

Yes, NOLA has some serious problems, but like Detroit they stem from liberal control of the city for many years. We have generational welfare and crime in some parts of the city. Why? because liberalism had destroyed the family unit and encouraged out of wedlock births, the welfare state discourages young males from working and puts them on the streets to traffic in drugs and shoot each other over "turf".

Housing projects become ghettos because the residents have no ownership feelings.

Some progress is being made by our current democrat mayor because he sees things as they are and is trying to resist the liberal pressure from the libtards on the city council.

Louisiana is a right to work state yet it's major city has the same type problems as Detroit or Chicago yet you lay blame on those cities problems at the feet of labor unions.

as to Detroit and Chicago I said unions AND liberals. Here we have the liberals but not the unions. But this city is growing, Detroit is sinking into the mud.

so because other institutions have corruption, that makes it OK for unions to be corrupt ? :cuckoo:

Trying to paint all unions as bad by pointing out incidents of corruption is what was being done, we could be talking about any other institution that exists in the U.S. and the very same tactic could be used , it was a worthless post.

And compare that to NYC, which is what any liberal, centrist, and rightist wants for the country.

Reactionaries, like Redfish, only care about themselves, nothing more.
