You obviously didn't watch yesterday's hearing. The judge dismissed most of the defenses claims such as Nathan being unqualified or the relationship creating a conflict of interest, and he said the only remaining issue is whether or not Fani Willis personally benefitted from the appointment of Nathan Wade and that even if it's proven that she did it would only amount to her dismissal and not a dismissal of the charges. He also said he's leaving the option of whether or not to enforce the subpoena until after he hears whatever the defenses witness has to say. So far the defense hasn't provided much evidence of anything and the judge remains skeptical of the defenses claims. He's holding the hearing to preserve the record since the defense claims to have compelling evidence but so far hasn't presented any.

We're not talking about opposing counsel, though if we were Fani Willis pointed out in her reply brief that a defense attorney for one defendant in the case is dating the defense attorney for Ken Chesboro who has already flipped in this case, and Fani said even this doesn't in and of itself constitute a conflict of interest. It may but that would have to be supported by further evidence of malpractice. In this instance however both Fani Willis and Nathan Wade are on the same side. What's the conflict?
