Antonio Villaraigosa is at the end of his term.
he's a former member of the Hispanic racist organization La Raza (the race)
he ran for mayor and won.
it seemed for a while he was being groomed to be the first Hispanic President but it seems he failed to understand how the game is played.
he ended up getting divorced.
he criticized the school system for continuing to produce a high number of Hispanic drop-outs.
when the budget went sour he tried to work with Gov Arnold and he committed the big no-no by cutting back hours of the government unions.
(unions believe any budget crisis can be solved by taxing the public)
he was involved with a number of tax hikes, most of them not approved by voters.

now that he's leaving the media had been following him around calling him "the broke mayor"
half of the 1.6 million he was paid for being mayor went to child support.
the media says he was buying $2000 suits and ordering $100 bottles of wine at dinner.
(how is that diffrent from every other politician he have here?)

the media says he has no car and currently no place to live.
Villaraigosa made light of the accusations by acting like he was trying to hitch a ride on the 405 freeway.

Villaraigosa says he expects to find a job in a college or a "think tank"

one thing is for sure, the left-wing machine in Los Angeles hates his guts

Garcetti just won the election "Los Angeles' first Jewish mayor"
his father Gil Garcetti was a long time council member.
his grandfather was a judge in Mexico who was hung in the revolution

It might be impossible to understand how the people of Los Angeles feel about Mayor Tony The Thug unless one has lived under his administration. Financial scandal after financial scandal, with some sex scandals thrown in for flavor, influence peddleing taken to the level of fine art, consistently showing up at public events thoroughly drunk on his ass all figure in to the public impression. Villaraigosa ran on fiscal responsibility. He was going to fix the streets and fill the potholes. Los Angeles has a spending problem on a Detroit level, but the Mayor had a plan. Fill the potholes, fix the streets, and send the bill to the property owners at the location. Tack it on to their yearly property taxes if they don't pay up.

Villiaraigosa had a nickname, Mayor Photo Op. No matter how bad things got, Mayor Photo Op would show up wearing a hard hat, or some other costume and tell the City how wonderful he was, when he was sober enough to stand up that is.

In the mayoral election the voters were asked to decide which candidate would be worse than the other. Wendy Greuel followed the democrat playbook and promised all hispanics a minimum wage of $15.00 an hour. Eric Garcetti was more modest, he is just going to solve all the problems of everyone living in the City. Garcetti is an obamalover and what worked for obama surely would work for him and it did. Whether Garcetti was believed or Gruele was just too odious is a matter for speculation as the vote for none of the above was the big winner. The turnout was only 20%.

After years of democrat rule, the state might be ripe for rebellion led by the farmers as they turn on the democratic legislature.
