The research finds that children with low intelligence are more likely to hold prejudiced attitudes as adults. These findings point to a vicious cycle, according to lead researcher Gordon Hodson, a psychologist at Brock University in Ontario. Low-intelligence adults tend to gravitate toward socially conservative ideologies, the study found. Those ideologies, in turn, stress hierarchy and resistance to change, attitudes that can contribute to prejudice, Hodson wrote in an email to LiveScience...

I can buy into some of this thinking. However, a great deal of our prejudices are confirmed by the actions of those for whom we hold a prejudice. Secondly, prejudice and racism are two completely different things and should not be confused as being the same thing.

Again, prejudice is pre-judging. Those who pre-judge based on skin color are engaging in racial prejudice - we term them "racists." Truthmatters is a prime example of a racist.

The author of the blog post is confusing "discrimination" with "prejudice." It's a common mistake. He discriminates against the man with the sideways hat, baggy pants, tattoos and gangsta walk based on observed data which denotes that these types are usually dangerous.

If he assumed a normally dressed Mexican was a gangster, because he is Mexican, that would be prejudice. A judgement made without supporting facts.

As long as blacks go along with the white liberal New England elitist agenda you liberals are good with them. But stray from your views and you destroy them. An excellent example are school vouchers. School vouchers have been widely supported among many liberal blacks as a way to get their kids out of bad neighborhood schools. But rather then adopt that philosophy, the left crushed any black who pursued it.

But anyone who says blacks don't need your condescending liberal attitude or handouts you grab your head and run in circles like your hair is on fire screaming, "racist, racist."
