And I whole heartedly agree with you. Governments caused this, the governments should clean it up. What I’m a little hung up on is the break down of responsibilities. What I mean is that different states enacted different lockdowns. States like my wonderful Florida opened up as soon as possible while giving discretion to each county how they wanted to proceed. States like New York are still locked down. Is the entire country on the hook for New York to be locked down? Do we in Florida now pay New Yorkers because their governor is an asshole?
I haven’t given it much thought so I really don’t have any answers in the subject.
But I absolutely believe in safety nets, and in this instance the government needs to do what’s right.
But I can tell you this... handing out billions in pork projects, foreign aid, etc while sending Americans $600 fucking dollars is not the right thing.

let me also qualify what I’m saying like this...I personally don’t need the money. I also never stopped working.
