Well...it's amusing how you want to jump straight to "No collusion" and skip all the other stuff. Now, I'm on record as believing that there was no collusion between Trump and Russia. So, we agree.
But...it is crystal clear that something was/is rotten about Trump's inner circle and Russia. You want us all to put blinders on and focus solely on Trump.
That's not going to happen. Many around Trump are going down. The evidence is mounting of their individual misdeeds. Shady financial dealings, attempting to conspire with a foreign power to get dirt on an opponent, money laundering, lying, fraud, and on and on. Everyone is going to get their day in court..while Trump openly threatens to undermine our entire legal system with pardons--the innocent do not need pardons.
Hillary is never going to be President--but Pence's gamble..may very well pay off. He's eaten a ton of Trump's shit...I wonder if that will come back on Trump some day?

True. But given the provisions below, what does Manafort's actions dating back years before the campaign have to do with the campaign?

(i)

any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals
associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and

(ii)

any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and

(iii)

any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a).

If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is

authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.
