As most of us are aware the Justice department was looking closely at Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort and his ties to Russia. Yesterday Manafort registered as a foreign agent receiving 17 million from the Russians.

WASHINGTON -- President Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, has registered with the Justice Department as a foreign agent for political consulting work he did for a Ukrainian political party, acknowledging that he coached party members on how to interact with U.S. government officials. Manafort says in a Justice Department filing Tuesday that his firm, DMP International, received more than $17 million from the Party of Regions, the former pro-Russian ruling party in Ukraine, for consulting work from 2012 through 2014.Manafort is the second member of the Trump campaign to register as a foreign agent. In March, former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn registered with the Justice Department for work his consulting firm performed for a Turkish businessman that he said could have aided the Turkish government.

Trump surrogates met with the Russsian ambassador at the RNC Convention in July and installed this clause into the Republican platform.

Gordon had advocated for language in the GOP platform that the Ukrainians not be armed in their battle against pro-Russian separatists, an effort was ultimately successful. But Gordon says he was simply advocating what Trump himself had expressed -- that he did not wish to see major war break out over the situation in Ukraine.

McCain wanted to know why this clause was put in the RNC platform.

It just gets deeper and deeper :dig:

Manafort got his money from the Party of Regions not the Russians.

Oh and by the way, Tony Podesta had to register as a foreign agent as well. He was working as a lobbyist for Russia's state bank during the election to try to lift the sanctions on the bank.

Now in regards to arming the Ukrainians, old warhorse McCain's buddies, the Republicans would be insane to do so. Considering who the Ukrainians allow to fight under their banner.

This is the Azov Battalion. I'm thankful the R's saner heads prevailed.

Yuppers. They're neo nazis.

There are neo nazi's in Russia, too. Plenty of 'em. And spare me a history lesson on the Eastern Front, know all about it.

Manafort is just one of an entire election team made up of Russian sycophants who probably were complicit in Putin's election interference. Conservatives have simply turned into traitors who with to usurp democracy with fascism.

People on both campaign teams have done business with Russia. It isn't illegal to do business with the country. There's no proof of any collusion whatsoever.

As to the neo nazis in Russia, McCain doesn't want to arm them. Only the Ukrainian neo nazis. *cough* McCain arming fake rebels in Syria didn't turn out so swell did it now?

So he worked in Ukraine? Nothing illegal about any of that.

You morons seem to think that anyone who has done any kind of business with Russians is a criminal.

It is not illegal to to business with the Russians, other than where the sanctions are involved. However, it is illegal to collude with the Russians to affect an American election. And those that do, are traitors to this nation. Which well describes many in the present administration. And, I think, is a fail description of the fat senile old orange clown.

No collusion took place.
