Mass shooting reported at Michigan State University in multiple locations around campus. many injuries reported/2nd shooting@university fitness center

Oh sure, the ruling oligarchy that rule over western nations have the guns.

I love how you deploy ad homs and derisive language as a discussion tactic, for an agenda on an issue, for a nation, that is not even yours.

Hmmmm. . . interesting. One wonders why you even give a shit.

I do find it interesting, how there never, ever appears on this forum, any member from the common-wealth that minds their own business, or supports our 2A.

Interesting that.
No Homs, no derisive language (just correct English), and no tactics.

The gun debate surrounding gun safety is easy and "common sense". Even the gun nut know this, so to kill the conversation and bypass common sense, just say, "2nd Amendment". Sorted.

Hence why you guys must say, "2nd Amendment", religiously everyday, like some kind of Salat.

Tomorrow is the 5-year anniversary of the Parkland massacre. Many Stoneman Douglas survivors are in college today. They will be walking up to the devastating news from Michigan State and with a feeling that too many of us share — that the threat of gun violence is inescapable.
No, what's inescapable is Democrat brainwashing that lead's to the break down of civilized SOCIETY. Fact.

.

For some reason, gun violence is a fixture of American life, totally different orientation to guns to most countries.

Countries with the Highest Rates of Violent Gun Death (Homicides) per 100k residents in 2019

  1. El Salvador — 36.78
  2. Venezuela — 33.27
  3. Guatemala — 29.06
  4. Colombia — 26.36
  5. Brazil — 21.93
  6. Bahamas — 21.52
  7. Honduras — 20.15
  8. U.S. Virgin Islands — 19.40
  9. Puerto Rico — 18.14
  10. Mexico — 16.41
Gun violence in Latin America is exceptionally high, due in no small part to the prevalence of criminal gangs and a vibrant drug trafficking industry. The Inter-American Development Bank released a report highlighting several critical factors in Latin American cities that contribute to increased gun violence, including economic deprivation, residential instability, family disruption, absence from school, the population’s age structure, and alcohol consumption.

Gangs are much less of an issue in the United States, yet it is second only to Brazil on the list in total gun deaths. Many people understandably assume the high number of gun deaths in the U.S. is due to mass shootings, which receive frequent attention from the media. In truth, mass shootings account for only a small percentage of gun deaths in the United States. Rather, nearly two-thirds (63%) of gun deaths in the US in 2019 were suicides.

Why don't you have a thread like this every day for all of the people shot dead in Chicago on a daily basis? Cause they're black victims, I guess they don't matter, what a racist you are. :dunno:

What exactly do you want them to do? The problem is no one can predict the future with any precision. And only those individuals who are not inclined to use their weapons to murder others are the ones who would disarm if the laws changed to prohibit them, not the criminals. This is the very reason there is always so much pushback against all of the dishonest gun control legislation that is presented.

Until people are honest enough to admit that the issue is a "people problem" not a "gun problem" and do what is needed regarding the people who keep creating the same damn problems, you're right nothing will change.

He's trolling to get reactions, don't feed the troll.

There have been so many mass shootings. So many times for Republicans to act. But they refuse to do it time and time again. Their hollow words won't solve our nation's gun problem. Only action will. Start acting, Republicans — or we will vote all of you out of office.
our nation?.....you dont live here....

We don't in the UK, plus, there's no age limit here to have a shotgun certificate. They've even been issued to 9 year olds.

For some reason, gun violence is a fixture of American life, totally different orientation to guns to most countries.
Aren't they making your knives without points?

The left loves to invoke EMOTION.

Children, Children, Children.......when in fact they are all young adults who can vote, serve in the military, and in some cases buy booze.

but lets take away everyones Constitutional rights to protect the "children"

So I went to the new Bing ChatGPT and asked about these pointless knives, and this was their answer:

Some Taylor’s Eye Witness knives do not have points because they are designed for specific purposes that do not require pointed tips. For example, some of their kitchen knives, such as the Brooklyn 4 Piece Steak Knife Set in Black and Copper1, have rounded tips that are suitable for slicing meat and cheese2. Some of their pocket knives, such as the Premier Collection Barlow Pocket Knife with Worked Back, Ironwood3, have clip points that are good for piercing and cutting2.

There are also different reasons why some knives in general do not have points, such as:

These are some of the possible explanations why some knives do not have points or lose their points over time. To prevent this, it is important to choose the right knife for the right job, use high-quality knife steel and sharpening tools, and follow the proper sharpening techniques and care instructions465.

My conclusion: the new Bing seach engine with AI is pretty good, but pointless knives are pointless generally.

I don't know what to say. Multiple people injured at a Michigan State University shooting. Five years after Parkland, students like me still fear if we will be the next victims of gun violence. This is not normal. Republicans have blood on their hands for failing to act.
Republicans have blood on their hands for failing to act.
what could Republicans have done to prevent this atrocity?
