Yeah, and to simply go to a music festival in the supposed safe and carefree protected area in Israel, has proven once again how stupid gun free zones are or can be, and it proves how dangerous it is for the citizens to believe that their government is going to stop a murderous thing from happening when leaving it's citizen's totally defenseless by useless words full of rhetoric, and law's that give the citizens a false sense of security in the faces of evil.

I'll bet the Israeli citizen's wished on that horrific day, that they had a 2nd amendment that allowed them to carry weapons concealed on their person legally.

Maine is going to re-examine their policies and investigate. I expect policy changes. From what I’ve heard on the news healthcare workers don’t have to report an incident unless the person is forcibly committed. That will change.

This was reported anyway and nothing happened. I expect some some new rules about timely reporting are going to be put in place.

I also expect a lawsuit and the traditional firing scapegoats to cover up bad and lax policy by the state and municipality.

It’s sad that 18 people had to die because of lack of common sense, poor response,insufficient laws and most importantly poor mental health care. Unfortunately nobody ever learns from Columbine, Sandy Hook, and the dozens of other mass shootings we’ve had so we will be here debating this subject again in the future.
