MASSIVE SHOOTING in MAINE RIGHT NOW and shooter on the lose

... anti-gun extremists ...

Ever heard: "Whoever takes up the sword will perish by the sword."?

PS: How funny would be the life in the 21st century all over the world today if people still would go with a sword in the streets? And a sword needs much more knowledge to use it than needs a gun. A drunken sword fighter is more helpless and not very dangerous. A drunken man with a gun is able to be extremely dangerous.

The Nazis in Germany had been an extremist right wing movement - not a left wing movement. Seems to me you like to rewrite history.

God likes to speak with you! Now! Immediatelly! Do not hesitate to do so.

National socialists are left wing, you dumb ass.......

At one time guns did not exist.....and what was that world like, you doofus?

The strong enslaved, raped, tortured, murdered, mutilated the weak.....it was only with the invention of guns that normal people could fight and resist the violent monsters roaming the world, and they created civilization....

These Leftest nitwits don't want the people to be empowered to resist oppression because they like the oppression of the state.

Soon to be 1400 comments to this topic!

While there's nothing different about it other than mass shooters are finding better chances of having larger kills in small towns.

Leading folks to believe that Mayberry, RFD would be a slamdunk against no police interference other than the sheriff's one gun and Barney's one bullet.

Let's not give future shooters of America any bright ideas on how to set new records!!

For the good of the board, I'll just point ou the misuse of the word 'lose' in place of the word 'loose' in the title.

Some small issues can still be dealt with, mods!

Nope.

Paddock appeared fixated on three pillars of right-wing extremism: anti-government conspiracy theories, threats to Second Amendment rights, and overly burdensome taxes. For instance, one witness told Las Vegas police that Paddock was “kind of fanatical” about his anti-government conspiracies and that he believed someone had to “wake up the American public” and get them to arm themselves in response to looming threats. Family members and associates of Paddock painted a picture of a man who loathed restrictions on gun ownership and believed that the Second Amendment was under siege, according to our review of their statements to investigators after the shooting and other documents compiled by the authorities.

Dipshit the leftists of today act more like nazis they want to rewrite history.

You have absolutelly not any light idea what you try to speak about in such a context - or sell your political oponents desk lamps with shades made of the human skin of their self defined enemied in the age of three years? The Nazis made a Darwinistic form of mass-murder in industrialized dimensions.

So do not continue to degrade yourselve to one of the worst idiots the world ever had seen. Your political party "The Democrats" is far from everything what I call "Nazism" and their German equivalent SPD - the first and eldest political party of Germany at all - had been even the only political party of many who voted against the enabling act of Adolf Hitler. So they had been one of the first who saw coming this extreme danger.

By the way: In the so called "Third Empire" in Germany during the 1000 years from 1933-1945 it always had been clear that traditional Catholics and progressive Democrats from the SPD (in most cases Protestants) never had agreed with the ruling Nazis. Today seems everyone to think that specially this people had been Nazis - what grew meanwhile to be more than only damn absurde.

In some places, it's legally required by state law to prohibit guns if a business serves alcohol. (Which the bowling alley did.)
Should it be required by state law's across this country, to not sell alcohol to those who have a responsibility (while they are with their permits to carry, along with their weapons of choice), to then have to show those concealed carry permits if they have one, before purchasing certain drink's that scrambles the brain ???

If they want to consume things like alcohol or liquor while they are carrying in a public or private space, otherwise that is allowed to sell such things as that, then they should refrain from drinking or wanting to drink because it'll be illegal to do so while carrying concealed legally correct ???

It wasn't the case of course with the shooting, but since you made the point, I was just thinking about the point made afterwards.

Still need responsible adults with weapons on their person, to always be present at any open event these day's, because we definitely have a problem with these Killers taking advantage of these gun free zones, otherwise zones that are created by those who fear all people having weapons (i.e.having no distinctions between the two), instead of just fearing the one bad person whose going to reek havoc if he or she gets through in order to kill and maim with ease, and sadly it happens because of having no good person with a gun in his face and space when he (the bad guy), opens up fire on the innocent in a gun free zone.

I agree that no alcohol should be legally sold to a legally carrying concealed civilian with weapon on them at a public open event.

Common sense really.

The problem wasn’t the gun, the gun free zone, the number of bullets. The problem was this guy was bat shit crazy and he should have been institutionalized and his guns taken away. That didn’t happen. The human is always the problem. They literally had months to stop this guy but didn’t bother. Now people are dead. Again let’s see what Maine does now.
The gun free zone was definitely a problem, along with the fact that the guy was CRAZY in which you are right about.

So...have anything more than a blatantly-partisan site making an unsourced claim (along with several other unsourced-and likely incorrect-claims) for that? I have also seen claims that Paddock was at one of the anti-Trump protests in Reno.

Paddock quite likely had an unnoticed psychotic break.
