Matthew Whitaker hearing

"After the Obama administration approved the sale of a Canadian mining company with significant U.S. uranium reserves to a firm owned by Russia’s government, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission assured Congress and the public the new owners couldn’t export any raw nuclear fuel from America’s shores.

“No uranium produced at either facility may be exported,” the NRC declared in a November 2010 press release that announced that ARMZ, a subsidiary of the Russian state-owned Rosatom, had been approved to take ownership of the Uranium One mining firm and its American assets.

A year later, the nuclear regulator repeated the assurance in a letter to Sen.
John Barrasso, a Wyoming Republican in whose state Uranium One operated mines.

“Neither Uranium One Inc. nor AMRZ holds a specific NRC export license. In order to export uranium from the United States, Uranium One Inc. or ARMZ would need to apply for and obtain a specific NRC license authorizing the exports of uranium for use in reactor fuel,” then-NRC Chairman Gregory Jaczko wrote to Barrasso.

The NRC never issued an export license to the Russian firm, a fact so engrained in the narrative of the Uranium One controversy that it showed up in The Washington Post’s official fact-checker site this week. “We have noted repeatedly that extracted uranium
could not be exported by Russia without a license, which Rosatom does not have,” the Post reported on Monday, linking to the 2011 Barrasso letter.

Yet NRC memos show that it did approve the shipment of yellowcake uranium — the raw material used to make nuclear fuel and weapons — from the Russian-owned mines in the United States to Canada in 2012 through a third party. Later, the Obama administration approved some of that uranium going all the way to Europe, government documents show."

Bwuhahahaha.....

I LOVE THE BALLS ON THIS GUY!

Whittaker is NOT intimidated, he knows exactly what they all agreed to regarding his questioning, and he is holding them to it, NOT putting up with their bullshit!

:abgg2q.jpg:

Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker received gasps of astonishment when he told the head of the House Judiciary Committee at a testy hearing on Friday that his time for questioning had run out.

"Mr. Chairman, I see that your five minutes is up," Whitaker told Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), a statement that drew groans and gasps at the packed committee hearing.

"I am here voluntarily. We have agreed to five minute rounds," he added.

"Nadler appeared to start laughing himself at what was a breach of protocol for a witness testifying before a congressional panel, as the ranking member of the committee said it would be a good time for a break in the proceedings.

Other lawmakers looked surprised at the quip. Rep.
Jamie Raskin(D-Md.) jaw dropped."

A 'Breach of Protocol' to hold the Democrats to the very rules for the meeting they agreed to? :p

Poor wittle Democrats - they aren't used to someone who has some nads, who is not intimidated by them in the least, and who will hold them exactly to what they agreed to.

This is DEFINITELY the guy we need in charge of the DOJ right now....and the Democrats know it which is why they hate him / are against him.

"I am here voluntarily." No, motherfucker, you serve the people, so you better start acting like it. You also better answer every question that comes your way, or you'll be subpoenaed until you do. Do wingers not understand how government works?

I personally would treat any DemNazi with contempt in any interview. I also would be an asshole if The FBI were interviewing me. Not because I had anything to hide, but because they are morally and ethically bankrupt.

Until The Swamp is drained, consider everyone your mortal enemy.

Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder, Barak Obama, John McCain all made Uranium One happen, and made it possible to allow Russia to export Uranium to Iran.

"Douglas Campbell, the FBI informant, alleged that Moscow paid millions of dollars to a lobbying firm to help Bill Clinton’s charities in order to influence Hillary Clinton, who was then former President Barack Obama’s secretary of state.

Campbell made the claims in a 10-page statement given to the Senate Judiciary Committee, House Intelligence Committee and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Campbell said Russian nuclear officials “told me at various times that they expected APCO to apply a portion of the $3 million annual lobbying fee it was receiving from the Russians to provide in-kind support for the Clinton’s Global Initiative.

“The contract called for four payments of $750,000 over twelve months,” Campbell said in the statement. “APCO was expected to give assistance free of charge to the Clinton Global Initiative as part of their effort to create a favorable environment to ensure the Obama administration made affirmative decisions on everything from Uranium One to the US-Russia Civilian Nuclear Cooperation agreement.”

That's some mighty fine Russian Collusion Right There.

And to think it involves Uranium and Nuclear Weapons pointed at US and Israelis in The Middle East makes it even more treacherous.

So she bilked the Ruskies out of 145 million dollars for nothing?
It depends how you look at it. The Russians ended up getting their uranium, but she lost the election (No influence, if that is part of what they were trying to buy).

(And you act like this would be the 1st time she 'bilked' anyone out of their money. :p )

You're even dumber than you pretend to be. If the Russians got nothing, why did they pay her $140 million after the deal was approved? What kind of idiot pays a bribe after he already has what he wants.

And why did this Oligarch bribe Hillary, when he didn't even own the company any more. You stories makes no sense. The time line just doesn't worked. Hillary bilked this guy, but he paid her anyway, two years later?

The Russians got nothing. They get the profits of power grade uranium sales in the USA. That's why the United States Energy Commission approved the deal. It had nothging to do with Clinton.

https://nypost.com/2014/09/25/eric-holders-contempt/

Eric Holder’s stormy legacy includes being the only attorney general in American history to have been held in criminal contempt of Congress.

The contempt vote stemmed from the administration’s decision to withhold from congressional investigators documents about Fast and Furious, the gun-running operation that put deadly weapons in the hands of criminal cartels.

More lies. There were no guns run into Mexico. Furthermore, it's the lax AZ gun law that is putting the deadly weapons in the hands of the Brutal Capitalistic Cartels. You see any 18 year old without a record can by one of those deadly weapons as long as they pinky swear they are not an agent buyer. But there is no law that says they can't, as a private citizen change their mind about the weapon and turn around and sell that gun for cash. At least that's what they were trying to stop. It didn't work because the AZ AG wouldn't bring charges against the straw buyers.

Besides Guns don't kill people.......People kill people.

At least that's what I've heard from a number of people!

We got 550 ton worth of weapons grade Uranium from Russia. Sec Clinton had nothing to do with that. Russia also as part of a much larger deal with a Canadian company, acquired the mining rights to some small mines in the US. President Obama was the ultimate decider on that deal wasn't he? Not Sec Clinton.
Did you not read a word I wrote? I ask because you say shit I did not say, things i already explained but which you make it sound you never saw / heard.....are you sharing DragonLady's drugs?

I did. They didn't get our uranium. We got theirs. Neither deal require Sec. Clinton.

But it's a win for Faux news because millions of American believe it.

Republicans Ask Democrats To Please Leave Trump's Tax Returns ALONE
Top House Republicans decry an oversight tactic that they used in the Obama years.
It does not hurt to ask the Socialists who just took over to leave the policies responsible for our current success alone....the worst that could happen is they say 'No', f*ck things up, and drag the US back down into the failed policies and economic quagmire we were in before Trump was elected.
Economic quagmire??? 75 straight months of SIX digit employment gains ? Almost a triple in the DOW?? IF you didn't coin it in Obamas 8 years I feel sorry for you ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Not really lol

Yeah, Trump's guys are really kicking ass and taking names.
They really are.

1) George Papadopoulos, former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, was arrested in July 2017 and pleaded guilty in October 2017 to making false statements to the FBI. He got a 14-day sentence.

2) Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chair, was indicted on a total of 25 different counts by Mueller’s team, related mainly to his past work for Ukrainian politicians and his finances. In prison.

3) Rick Gates, a former Trump campaign aide and Manafort’s longtime junior business partner, was indicted on similar charges to Manafort. But in February 2018 he agreed to a plea deal with Mueller’s team, pleading guilty to just one false statements charge and one conspiracy charge.

4) Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, pleaded guilty in December 2017 to making false statements to the FBI. Going to prison.

21) Richard Pinedo: This California man pleaded guilty to an identity theft charge in connection with the Russian indictments, and has agreed to cooperate with Mueller. He was sentenced to 6 months in prison and 6 months of home detention in October 2018.

22) Alex van der Zwaan: This London lawyer pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI about his contacts with Rick Gates and another unnamed person based in Ukraine. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and has completed his sentence.

36) Michael Cohen: In August 2018, Trump’s former lawyer pleaded guilty to 8 counts — tax and bank charges, related to his finances and taxi business, and campaign finance violations — Going to prison.

37) Roger Stone: In January 2019, Mueller indicted longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone on 7 counts. He accused Stone of lying to the House Intelligence Committee about his efforts to get in touch with WikiLeaks during the campaign, and tampering with a witness who could have debunked his story."""

I think you're just as stupid as Trump is....you don't get it.
The party is over.
Whittaker has so much to hide he's just trying to fillibuster.
But Mueller is watching this, too.
Except he sees it in a way you're too stupid to see.

I am now a NEW FAN of AG Whitaker!

Eric Holder user the law to legally attempt to withhold sensitive information from Congress, and he lost. He're what he didn't do:

Holder didn't insult, berate, threaten, bully or belittle members of the oversight committee, like this little dog and pony show by Whittaker. He simply stood his ground in a reasonable, respectful and legal way. Rude, stupid and condescending is no way to treat people who hold your balls in their hands. Whittaker only had the nerve to behave as he did today because he's going to gone next week. If he were to continue in this job, and continue to treat House Democrats in this manner, the House Appropriations Committee has the ways and means of pulling him up short.

There is nothing braver or dumber than a man with nothing to lose.

Yes we know what is expected of a good wingman. Holder was the best.

What would happen if Trump's Secretary of State, Pompeo, had a secret server in his bathroom, and then deleted 33,000 subpoenaed emails when it was found out?

Whitaker is no pushover. He knows how the game is played and he's more than able to play.

Good for him.

Just the opposite, toots.
He DOESN'T know how this works, he doesn't realize it's not his agenda to call.

.
.
.
Sure it is. This is still America, not LibPhuckistan!

Whitaker has Civil Rights and can conduct himself accordingly by those rights and privileges all American Citizens have.
