Hollywood touching anything political is a fools game, and you would think that it would know this by now. Of course the political left is just controlling Hollywood, and using it's powerful platforms and celebrities to do it's dirty work for them.

This impeachment thing is nothing but more political theater to try and effect an election by placing it into their favor, because they don't know what to offer American's in the forms of economic growth and jobs when they are the party of dependency and free crap for power. You are right. Obama never had to fire an FBI director because everyone under him was, and is still working FOR him. Quite well actually. As the Trial must occur in the Senate and the judge would be the Honorable Chief Justice John Roberts of the Supreme Court of the United States. And he would most certainly return the legislation known as 'articles of impeachment' back to them for legitimate charges.

As I understand it, in order to remove a president from office, the US Senate has to have a two-thirds vote to do so - 67 senators. Ain't going to happen folks, and everybody in Washington knows it. So, assuming the House does impeach Trump, we're talking about political theater here, not justice. Which means it will be a political decision on McConnell's part, with his sole concern being losing the Senate to the Dems in 2020. As it stands now the Dems have about 11 seats up for re-election but the GOP has about 20 I think, so that probably will be his main focus rather than Trump's discomfort. I think he might force a vote on whether to even have the trial in the first place, to put the Dems on record, which those who are in a red or purple district will have to defend next year.
