Over a hundred years later Churchill's observations are still true. In fact, nothing has changed with Islam in about 1400 years...except perhaps with technology. Civilization has invented airplanes and Muslims have invented means of blowing them out of the air. We build skyscrapers and Muslims tear them down. Right now, they are tearing down all the Christian churches in Egypt. These things are done in response to a strange but implacable malice by which intolerants mistake their own rancor for virtue.
The greatest danger, as Europe has learned, is that Islam is not just a religion...it is religion, government, custom, everything...a totalitarian way of life that has to be lived by not only its adherents but EVERYBODY. They have no concept of Separation of Church and State. "Islam or the Sword" was Mohammed's principal legal maxim, and his band of hooligans enforced it with great gusto....and nothing has changed in 1400 years.
"Islam or the Sword" is what they have in mind for Europe..and America is next.
Through disastrously stupid policy, America has made the mistake of letting 2.5 million Muslims settle in this country...and to the extent they are American citizens, they have all the rights everyone else does.

This incredible insult to America...this unnatural recklessness...while they accept its largess, and enjoy liberties they could never know in a Muslim country, provides the American Muslim Community the chance to act like Americans and show they are beginning to understand the 21st century. The leaders ought leave off for a moment their intolerant zeal and condemn this portentous impudence...like they should have condemned, but did not...the attacks on their fellow American citizens on the first September 11---which this barbaric event seeks to commemorate.
Maybe only 10 will show up for the Million Muslim March. That would help show Islam in a good light...for a change.
