It's still getting hotter

The way I evaluate Crick is he wants to live in fear. And buys the fear that has been sold to him.
He's so certain he can't be wrong he ignores the ocean in favor of the atmosphere despite the overwhelming physical evidence for the ocean. He's just as fraudulent as the climate community. There's no other explanation.

The ability to transfer a material quantity of heat - as you are suggesting - is related to the mass of the two objects and the temperature difference of the two objects. It's a simple material balance. If you placed a golf ball at 100F in a barrel of water at 60F it wouldn't materially affect the temperature of the water.
Do you actually believe anyone on this forum is unaware that you're dodging the fuck out of these questions or know exactly why?

I don't see how they can. Only a moron would believe the atmosphere is warming the ocean instead of the sun.

The ocean warms the atmosphere in several ways:
  1. Solar radiation: The ocean absorbs most of the sun's radiation, especially in tropical waters, where it acts like a solar panel.
  2. Evaporation: When heated water molecules evaporate, they exchange freely with the air.
  3. Ocean currents: As warm water moves away from the heat source, it carries energy with it through convection.
  4. Air flow: As the ocean warms, air flows over it, transferring heat and moisture to the atmosphere.

You do know that that chart ain't worth spit, right?
It shows the top ten cities that have a mean summer temp. at or under 72 deg.
It has not a thing to do with the temp. this summer, and whether or not said temp. is trending higher.
Our present temperature is 2C cooler than the previous interglacial period. You should expect our planet to continue to warm up until the heat circulation from the Atlantic to the Arctic gets disrupted.

Despite the copious denier tears flowing here, despite all their deflections and belligerent ignorance, the world is still warming strongly. The deniers still have a perfect record of absolute failure spanning 40+ years, while mainstream climate has still been right about everything that whole time.

That's why the denier cranks have to hide away in this SafeSpace, where they vainly try to convince each other that they're not cult losers. It's so good to be a normal person. We don't have to hide in a SafeSpace. We just point to the simple facts, and our case is proven.

Ding, you know what to do now. State some obvious factoid, something that everyone else learned in 4rth grade, then prance about as if having knowledge almost equal to that of a fourth grader means you win.

That's awful!
How many new nuclear reactors should we build?

As many as you want to invest in. Why aren't you doing that?

Being a practical person, instead of a reality-challenged denier, I know that money matters, and that you can buy vastly more capacity in renewables for the same amount of money.

We need reliable power if we're going to get rid of coal and natural gas.

When do you intend to put a halt to your global warming actions?
