Missouri voters approve legalization of marijuana for recreational use

Nahā€¦.you feces swapping, man gravy gargling folks throwing the huge ā€œPrideā€ gatherings are though.

Like pedophilia in the Mexican Church?

Youā€˜d like that wouldnā€™t youā€¦.you sicko!
Hey man, didn't mean to touch the old perverted nerve deep within you. Did you seek help for that?

Actually, we did no such thing when it comes to abortion, simply complied with existing law that said it should be state's decision.
As for drugs or alcohol, bans probably don't work that well.....just like restrictive gun control doesn't work. Criminals do what criminals want with no regard for the law.
ā€˜Bansā€™ donā€™t work.

Consequently, the only reason conservatives support and defend ā€˜bansā€™ is to advance their neo-fascist, authoritarian agenda of more government, bigger government at the expense of individual liberty.

This fact isnā€™t difficult to understand.

Thatā€™s weirdā€¦.you wonā€™t find a porn shop or weed shop in any clean, nice affluent community here in Mexiforniaā€¦.Damn, folks make $90k in shitholes in IL?

I do not know what people in the shitholes you live in make, but in the nice communities around here 90k is pretty average. The people here are not triggered by the sight of a pot shop so they go up all over the place. Not a bit different than a liquor store

Hmmmā€¦I wonder why a bright blue shithole like Mexifornia would know to have the decency to keep filth out of nice areas and Illinois wouldnā€™t?
Maybe Mexifornia just knows how to keep the filth filthy as they know the filth are sure to cast a Dem voteā€¦..hmmm?

Bans do not work. What does work is allowing people to experience the consequences of their own actions. Stop taking care of them. Stop the use of Narcan. Stop the safe shoot up sites.

You must be just about down to trading at truck stops and Indian reservations at this point
You are correct that itā€™s becoming more difficult to find any place worth being or anyone worth doing business with these days. Itā€™s still possible, but very, very difficult.

Yep. I bet the repugs would really expand their base if they ditched the stick up their ass holy rollers who are always trying to legislate morality. Maybe they will learn from the successes the pot legalization and abortion rights ballot initiatives are having even in conservative states.

Unsurprisingly is difficult for those on the authoritarian right to understand.

Hogwash.

So, what does the Bible say about cannabis?

What the Bible Says About Cannabis

At first glance, it actually appears that cannabis is never mentioned in the Bible, as there are no specific references to it by name. However, many Biblical scholars agree that cannabis does appear quite a few times, in the Old and New Testaments, and has simply been mistranslated ā€“ possibly on purpose. These probable cannabis references in the Bible carry a sense of respect for the potent power of this plant. From the Holy oil of Moses to the healing miracles of Jesus, itā€™s possible that cannabis played a critically important role in the original versions of some of Jewish and Christian Scriptureā€™s best-known stories.

Does the Bible approve of cannabis?

The Bible never outright condemns the use of cannabis. There were no laws against using cannabis in the Hebrew or Christian ancient texts. Itā€™s highly likely that at the time the Bible was written, people in the Middle East were well-aware of the existence, usefulness, and potentially intoxicating factors of marijuana. In the original Hebrew Old Testament, the use of hemp, both as an incense for religious celebration and as an intoxicant was mentioned.

Many people interpret the words of Genesis 1:29 to imply that weed is inherently good and approved for human use since, like all plants, it was created for us by God. In this verse, God tells Adam that ā€œEvery plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit, you shall have them for food.ā€

Really? For food? Including foxglove and peach pit tea. Did you believe this when you wrote it or just forgot about poisonous plants?

Hahahaā€¦.of course you donā€™tā€¦their look canā€™t sell your agenda

Possiblyā€¦.fuck it, might as well throw fuel on the fire huh?

Nopeā€¦.I wouldnā€™t dare

Governmentā€˜s primary purpose is to protect the public and to manifest and foster productivity by way of policy. You didnā€™t know that?
Governments purpose is not to foster productivity.

At time in history when you can't smoke a cigarette anywhere, they legalize a more potent drug. Go figure.
