Why has Europe - Russia - China banned GM foods and Monsanto while Americans are warned about a cola and chips but nothing from the USDA on Monsanto GM foods being a danger?

In this story they are basically making Farmers seriously sick or killing them with their pesticides. This is an ongoing problem. They are also the makers of roundup which was responsible for children born with deformities, etc.

This is a serious story.. But you're interpreting it all wrong. First of all, the chemical indicted here is an HERBicide, not a pesticide, and CERTAINLY not a GMO food.

Herbicides and Pesticides are dangerous. GMO foods in major use? Probably not.
Nothing in this story has to do GM foodstock.. EXCEPT

That several of Monsanto's GMO crops have been made insensitive to using herbicide. So that keeping the fields weed-free is easier. If instructions on keeping the herbicide off the food stock are not followed -- that's a major problem.
