Montana is having a very hard time with the virus. Half their problem is the fact that they don't have many hospitals in the state. It's not profitable so people in the large rural areas don't have access to proper health care.

I know my state has been swamped with people from Idaho and some from Montana. Especially on the east side of the state. Which adds to our hospitals who are dealing with the covid cases in that area of the state.

The gentleman in the article said he couldn't move his hands. He couldn't even feed himself.

I know a lot about that. I lost the use of both hands and arms for a long time from an accident with monster 15ft waves.

I didn't know that the virus caused a person to not be able to move their hands.

I do know some people are left with lasting problems caused by the virus.

People so need to get vaccinated.

what it doesnt say is they have 4 ICU beds and 6 cases,, not a big thing if you ask me,,

Bullshit. Article of complete and utter bullshit.

"In the past week, Montana averaged about 108 COVID-19 patients in hospital ICUs — breaking the record seen during the winter of 2020. Thirty-five people have died in the state since the start of the month."

This article is FEAR PORN trying to get you to take the Fauci Ouchy.

It is all about compliance. There is no issue but control.

What a liar

  • There are 232 ICU rooms across all Montana hospitals, 100 (43%) of which are currently occupied by COVID-19 patients
  • Billings hospitals have 64 ICU rooms in total, 30 (38%) of which are currently occupied by COVID-19 patients
  • Neither the Advanced Care Hospital of Montana or The Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana report ICU rooms at their facilities
ICU 823

The percentage of beds occupied by COVID-19 patients relative to hospital capacity can be a good indicator of how a community is handling the pandemic. Statistics on hospital occupancy are listed below for Montana and for Billings. Data accurate to September 27, 2021.

  • There are 2,458 beds across Montana hospitals, 427 (17%) are currently occupied by COVID-19 patients
  • Billings has 589 total beds between its hospitals
  • Between 70-90% of the beds at Billings Clinic and over 90% of the beds at St. Vincent Healthcare are occupied.
  • Billings hospitals report 98 available beds, 136 beds occupied with COVID-19 patients, and 355 beds occupied with non-COVID-19 patients
Bed 9-27

17% are used by COVID patients............man you guys must hate people in the hospital who don't have COVID.......

HOW DARE the cardiac and cancer patients use those beds.....COVID is much worse than cancer and heart disease......yes lefties really believe this shit

you just got dunked on

How many of these people are vaccinated?

What you need to know about Guillain-Barré syndrome

GBS is a disease in which a person’s own immune system mistakenly attacks part of the peripheral nerve system, which includes the nerve network outside of the spinal cord and brain. GBS affects an estimated 3,000 to 6,000 people a year in the U.S.
The disease can range from mild to severe, with symptoms from brief weakness to paralysis, and some people die of it. But most recover, even including the most severe cases. According to the CDC, in about two-thirds of cases, people report having had diarrhea or a respiratory illness several weeks before developing symptoms of GBS. Campylobacter jejuni infection, which causes diarrhea, is one of the most common risk factors, but people also have been diagnosed with GBS after other infections, including influenza, Epstein Barr, Zika virus, and COVID-19.
This is also not the first time people have developed GBS after getting a vaccine, according to data from the CDC. There have been reports of people getting ill from GBS days or weeks after being vaccinated with Shingrix, the shingles vaccine, and after getting the flu shot. In 1976, there was a small increased risk of GBS after swine flu vaccination, which was formulated specifically for a potential pandemic strain of flu virus. (Years later, based on a scientific review of the issue in 2003, the National Academy of Medicine found that people who had received the 1976 swine flu vaccine were at increased risk for GBS.)
But, as with the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, the risk in all of these vaccine-related situations has been small. And there have been no similar reports of GBS in people who have had the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA two-dose vaccines, which use a different technology than Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine.

Liberals Lie. And when the dumbass hospital loses half of it's nurses because they resign over a stupid useless Vax Mandate, they might as well close the hospital.
Hold up… are you claiming that the Montana hospital is lying about their ICU capacity and that they lost half their nurses because they didn’t want to take the vaccine?! Can you back any of that up with sourcing or are you just reacting and making shit up?

so 36 cases,, still doesnt sound like a big deal,,

and truthfully I was baiting because we all know when numbers arent added when making claims jts because they are hiding them,,

if you are one of the people waiting for an ICU bed it would be a big deal.

Why hasn’t Xiden done anything to bring up the capacity of hospitals around the country?

It’s such a “crisis” that Blue states are firing hospital workers by the tens of thousands.

What would you like to see him do to bring up the capacity in hospitals?
