More class warfare with this "corporate jet" nonsense

I'm saying you should tell me what break they're getting.
Then we can discuss it.
Assuming you can ever find the break they're getting.......
I'm asking you is it true that they are getting a tax break? Yes or no?

I hear all the libs talking about it, so it must be true.
Because they never lie.

I'm still waiting for one to tell me what the break actually is.
Will you be the first?
So, you are admitting that you are totally ignorant about this tax break, and don't even know if they are getting it or not?

Then why the fuck are you discussing it? Go learn, then come back when you know what you are talking about. I'm not your civics teacher.

An American who does not know their history (public school again)

Actually, income tax had to be put into the Constitution by The 16th amendment.
It was not "ruled", as you say.

Actually, direct tax by the Feds was ruled unconstitutional in Pollock v. Farmers' Loan & Trust Co. (1895)
Our founding fathers had put limits on the Federal gov't and direct taxes on the people
Wonder why that would be?

As such, the gov't had to change the Constitution to collect tax

Also, there is no requirement in the amendment for it to be progressive.
The gov't could make it flat, if it wanted to

Who gives a fuck if it was included by the founding fathers? It's a Constitutional amendment, that has been ruled Constitutional by the SCOTUS.

Sucks for you, loser!

Indeed
the Left does tend to find the Constitution inconvenient at times
:eusa_whistle:

I find nothing inconvenient about progressive taxation.

You lose again!

Be sure to let me know if you ever find out.
I'll wait.

President George Bush signs HR 5140 - the Economic
Stimulus Act of 2008 - into law in the East Room of the
White House.

On Feb 13, 2008, President Bush signed the Economic
Stimulus Act of 2008 into law. For the aircraft industry, the
act provides a revival of the 50% bonus depreciation
allowance as well as an enhanced expensing election under
Internal Revenue Code, IRC § 179.

Those aircraft used predominantly in Part 91 operations qualify for 5-year MACRS as long as the business use is over 50%.

NeoFascist has the right to insist that SCOTUS and the amendment are wrong. Conservatives to liberals on the court disagree unfortunately for him. Liberals and conservatives both have silly ideas about the Constitution. Offer something worthwhile, Righty Extremest NeoFascist.

Yes, and thank you for proving you know nothing. If you were going to object to something it should have been the 50% first year depreciation. Not only did the GOP get the 5 year depreciation restored in the 2010 Tax Relief Act negotiations, they got the 50% upped to 100%. These changes expire on Jan 1, 2012.

Yeah, 100% depreciation means it's 1 year, not 5 years.
Thanks for proving you knew nothing.
At least you know now.
I think we need to remove this unfair tax advantage by allowing all companies to write off all equipment 100% immediately.

Note the "corporate" rhetoric the President uses.
He does not use "business" jet as he knows that everyone admires and strives to have their own business and the word "business" does not have a negative feeling with the moocher class.
But "corporate" with all those evil, greedy corporate executives, CEOs and the like has that negative touch that the moocher class relates to.

Where were all the lefties on the rich before the Liberal leaders decided to make it a class warfare thing?
None of your were talking about this till the left made it into a political we vs them thing.

the whole idea of this being class warfare are just looking for a fight with no merit.

Where is the outrage over these cuts?!

Cuts in US welfare programs hit hundreds of thousands of poor families
By James Brewer
30 May 2011
US states are implementing drastic cuts to the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, creating further hardships for 700,000 families that include 1.3 million children. The slashing of funding for TANF, the welfare program financed by block grants to states from the federal government, is part of an overall attack on all social programs in the US.

The law already applies to heavy equipment, not just jets.
To get a 100% write off the heavy machinery must be used 100% for business use. Since the depreciation can be claimed as long as the business use is over 50%, obviously those under 100% use will not be able to write off 100% in one year.
Again, thank you for showing that you know nothing.

So you would rather keep them in shit holes like this? It's been this way for generations of welfare families.
