More than 30,000 republicans have switched their voter registration since the Capitol riots

The more recent numbers I saw this morning show an even clearer trend. Nationally, thousands have changed their voter registration. And of course, if Donald starts his new "Patriot Party" these numbers will be in the millions and Republicans will never win another election. :)

The party switching pales in comparison to the more than 74 million people who voted for Trump in November. And it’s unclear whether they’re united in their motivations. Some may be rejecting politics altogether while others may be leaving a Republican Party they fear will be less loyal to Trump.
But they offer an early sign of the volatility ahead for the GOP as the party braces for political fallout of the riots that Trump incited.
“I do think there’s a palpable shift, from knee-jerk defense of the president to ‘wow, that was a bridge too far,’” said Kirk Adams, the former Republican speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives.

Considering how sweet that the riot in the capitol turned out for the Democrats, do you think its possible that Democrat outfits like Antifa were involved in instigating it?

In any event, it looks like libs are heading for 1-party rule like you have in North Korea and Red China, eh?

It most definitely was instigated.
You would need proof for that to be a valid point to post.

I posted much information and links on it on many posts. It's not my fault you are to lazy to look for it yourself and believe everything the MSM tells you .

Trump has been a screw up his whole life. His father propped him up financially over and over again even when he was in the Casino business and took credit for anything Trump did that was successful.. Trump is a very tragic character.

You misunderstand. We are not leaving the GOP to join you, we are leaving the GOP to form a new third party headed by Trump. Republicans, Indes and yes, even some democrats disillusioned with you. And it is going to be the Trump On Steroids party. You should be concerned.

Both the Democrypts and Republicons are on their way out all together. Most people have had enough of these parasites and this fake 2 party system.
There should be 4 or 5 parties.

I'd be good with a viable third party. But 4 or 5? The average American doesn't pay attention to politics like we do. I have a feeling TOO many would be confusing, but could be wrong.

Donald is not well. Pretty sure it involves Daddy issues. Reading Mary Trump's book confirmed my opinion. Fred taught him that there are "killers" and "losers". It colored everything in his life. And he turned into a miserable human being.

The Republican Party is splitting along IDEOLOGICAL lines. That’s exactly what should be happening. It is yet to be seen whst the exact outcome of this will be... do the RINOs join the Democrats? Do we see a whole new party form?... if so is it a Far Right party or a Centrist party?

If people are leaving the GOP its because Trump lost in 2020, and they have little faith in the Romney-like GOP. I listen to Americans on twitter and other social media, the Legacy politicians are viewed in a horrible light. Spineless is a word I often hear thrown about. This has very little to do with an event in which some brainless neanderthals rushed the Capitol, many of them provocateurs I'm sure.

America should take heed and look at other failing nations and understand, if you capitulate to centralized systems, you will pay the price. It doesn't matter which agencies you fall down on your knees for, it always ends in the same failure. Don't be fooled and once again look at the shiny object. This has been done by the same cretins for 30 years, under their watch, The West has lost it's position.

Stand up for American Exceptionalism without shame. The people who discredit this are the weakest in the lot who have no clue what the communists have planned for all of us, or, they are part of their efforts.

What any voter's reg card shows under "political party" really means nothing in practical terms. I had to actually explain to a Canadian poster that no it doesn't mean you can only vote for that party. It really doesn't mean anything functionally.

So what's happening here is that the name itself is becoming so toxic that people don't want it on them, the same way they wouldn't want a pile of snot from coughing on them. It's embarrassing.

And that's a marketing problem for the RP. A bigly one. Registered Republicans are already in the minority and this is gonna drive them further back.

Seems to me however that in most states, crossing over to vote in a D or R primary isn't allowed. Independents have more freedom, which is why I went Indy in 2017.

The hardcore Q-base appears to be somewhere around 30% of the electorate, so maybe 60% or so of the party.

If they don't rip the Q-scab off pretty soon, I'd guess they're gonna have a tough time winning elections.

You shouldn't get your news and facts from social media. That may be your problem ;-)

Not to worry. Keven McCarthy is gonna have a talk with Taylor-Greene. He'll suggest that she not threaten to kill her colleagues. And then she'll get a pat on the back and sent on her merry way ;-)

I keep my finger on the pulse, I know damn well that CNN and the rest of the MSM aren't providing the facts on the ground.

It's why they have gotten everything wrong in election polls since 2016, and they and their handlers have been wrong for about 30 years.

There was a time America was the sole super power with no rivals. The same people convincing you that Trumps policies were bad news promoted the worst policies for these years. As congress sits at a 17% approval rating...Trump is the problem?

I will join the "Patriot" Party if it becomes an option. I think this is what the Commimisy Party OF America is seeing

Study up on Facebook algorithms. They direct your attention to fake news you want to hear, some of which is incredibly dangerous. Am I suggesting CNN or MSNBC? No. But you'd do just fine with AP, Reuters and other incredibly neutral media sources who actually report facts and news.

Is it gonna have lots of Capitol-storming, bombing and hanging? Is it gonna single out people for discrimination based on their religions? Will it be based in a very wonderful place in Germany? Featuring thousands and thousands of people on rooftops? Will it make football illegal? And hand out free Tiki torches? :gay:

Can I suggest y'all name it the Very Fine People Party. So that it's immediately apparent.

Of course, that's been true for a LONG time. But you don't break up a Duopoly by organizing brownshirts to beat them both up. All that does is bring those two parties even closer together than they already are. And then you truly have a one-party state.
