My hunch is that once he was shown to have lied about where he was just shortly before the time of the crime, he had fully fucked himself.

He was a lawyer who failed to recognize the value of exercising his right to remain silent.

The jury was only in deliberations for an hour... and they had lunch too.... lol

there was no hesitation for the jury, if you watched when they gave the verdict. everyone was an instant "yes! yes!"

Never any doubt. Of him being guilty, there was doubt to the verdict. How do you kill your wife and son? Who does that to save their own skin? And why does the other kid and the whole family support him? Do they think someone else did it? Sick f'n family.

This is Mallory Beach, she died the night Paul Murdaugh drove his boat drunk and crashed. That led to police & lawyers to investigate the Murdaugh family. Without her Alex Murdaugh would have prob gotten away with all of his crimes. Remember her.

This is pretty interesting, if you have Netflix. All the families talk about the Murdaugh's whose kids were on the boat that night, they also take a look back at Stephen Smith, but it's clear they have no evidence. It was ruled he was hit by a car but his shoes were on his feet and there was no evidence of skid marks, or car parts to be seen anywhere.
