Murdough guilty all counts

I was surprised at the lack of emotion... he's handled a lot of trials himself and he probably knew what it meant when the jury came back with it's verdict in less than 3 hours

I can’t find the news account I read somewhere. So, I can’t link it. But is it true that the Judge found it necessary to remove a picture of defendant Murdaugh’s grandfather from a wall in the courthouse?

If so, why?

not to influence the case either way BackAgain
I doubt any portrait of a defendant’s grandfather would influence any jury one way or the other. And if he took it down after the trial, why? Is that part of the sentence? It seems incredible. But I don’t know.

I’m glad the defendant was convicted in this case and I’m glad his sentence was so profound. But grandad’s portrait? Wtf?
