Aisha’s Priorities

As your State Representative, Aisha will continue to advocate for immigrants and people of color in Gwinnett and across the state by fighting back legislation aimed at criminalizing or vilifying our people. She will fight for increased access to resources for low-income communities of color that are often under resourced and underfunded. Lastly, Aisha will oppose legislation aimed at discriminating against anyone based on their ethnicity, religion, sexual preference or gender identity, including “religious freedom restoration” bills.
