My Governor Vetos Pot Oil In Idaho

Good for that governor recognizing the phony argument used to promote inevitable recreational use of a dangerous substance.
Pot heads and pot addicts will disingenuously disagree but that's because they're addicts and dishonest.

They think they're sly pushing the medical marijuana angle, but there is no medical use for THC, meaning that even if cannabis is used, it will be an extract of parts of the plant lacking in intoxicating effects.

There's a gap between saying that federal laws against drugs are unconstitutional and wrong and saying that states should push back by legalizing drugs. The former can be held true without giving into the latter, because legalizing recreational drugs is just bad policy, even if states are allowed to do so.

Governor Otter did well on this one.

You've probably never smoked pot in your life. It is likely that most of what you think you know about Marijuana is what DARE (or some other anti "drug" program) indoctrinated you into believing.

Marijuana is addictive and attracts the lowest scum to it.

Idaho is a beautiful state if you love the outdoors.
I can see though why you wouldn't care for it though, since it doesn't have tattoo parlors, pot shops, massage parlors, sex clubs, or transsexual clothing shops on every street corner.
or trees...

Idaho doesn't have trees? Wow what a foolish comment.Spoken by someone who has apparently never been there. Idaho is gorgeous. Southern Idaho can be flatter, but northern Idaho has some of the roughest wilderness in the country.

Yeah....maybe do some research in the Sawtooth Mountains, Bitterroot Mountains, Seven Devils, White Cloud Mountains, Frank Church Wilderness, Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest, Snake River, Salmon River (they don't call it the River of No Return because it's flat and calm), Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort, Sun Valley, Brundage Mountain Ski Resort, etc. You must have driven through a potato field around Pocatello or Twin Falls...in other words you haven't seen Idaho
Idaho rocks, both in terms of geology and nature. But the political mentality there is still at kindergarden level.

:D

Then the left coast's political mentality is in retard level.

No, scientists told us that. Try some "blubber" at 80% THC levels. MJ isn't your Cheech and Chong levels of 4% anymore; it's at levels about 30% in Colorado.

Like who? Besides Islam?
Any religion.....Addiction is...the fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity.

religion, sex, food, gambling,,they can be addictions also....depends on the user...

Perfect right wing logic. It's better to let a child and his family suffer a horrendous life with little or no chance of him being able to enjoy being normal and productive just so you can make it a little harder for a stoner to get high. Your compassion is overwhelming.
Totally backwards you disingenuous sloth. The only reason your ilk act like you care about the legality of any drug that could be beneficial to anyone is because you want to use that as justification to feed your own addiction or hedonism.

Like most things that right wingers know to be undoubtedly true, that is just wrong. The medical marijuana produced and used for specifically for medical purposes is very low in the constituent that makes you high. Of course there are, and will always be people who game this or any other system, but there needs to be allowances made for the legitimate use of a medicine that works when others don't.

Yet in California, where medical marijuana was passed, people went straight to smoking it. Shockingly enough, you potheads were never really interested in the medicinal value of cannabis after all.
Just like radar detectors were touted as beneficial for safe driving.
