name a dozen people you would trust to rewrite the constitution

Can you name a dozen people you would trust to rewrite the constitution?

ok, simplify: name 5
The constitution doesn't need to be rewritten, it just needs to be followed.

The constitution needs to be clarified in the areas where it doesn't seem to be being followed. ....Trade agreements should really be classified as Treatys in my opinion and require 2/3rds(i believe that's the number) majority votes as a treaty.

Congresses duty to declare war instead of passing that on to the president could perhaps be clarified also.

If the American people were involved in the selection of the people to rewrite the Constitution, would they allow the type of framer that would compromise? Today's politicians seem to believe shutting down the government makes them macho, thinkers, statesmen or something. Nope, the people would not allow the compromising needed to create a working Constitution, and they would shut down that convention quickly.

Compromise is the reason for the flaws in the Constitution.

That's the way democracies work.

Congress duty to declare war does not need to be clarified. The POTUS does not have the constitutional authority to declare war without the congress.

so why do we continually see unlawful actions like Our involvement in Libya?
Congress thinks it can give that power to the president...at least for a short period of time...but even that was by-passed I believe......it needs to be clarified.

When people are unwilling to allow change in the Constitution, only the powerful special interests will run the country....because they can find loopholes and curry favor with the courts etc.

Which is just another reason that democracy is a terrible form of government.

as Churchill said

Democracy is the worst form of government..............except for all the rest

Monarchy was better than democracy. People had more individual freedoms and kept more of their money under the monarchy.

That being said, all forms of government suck. That's why abolishing government altogether is the only rational option.

One of the major problems with monarchies was not keeping one's money but keeping their head.

Whose head did King George III take?

Anarcho-capitalist, to be exact. I've made that quite plain numerous times.

And did King George keep his apart from King Louis XIV?

By George's time Britain had long passed the monarchy stage, Parliamnent was the big honcho, despite Jefferson's propaganda tirade against George.

Name one European monarchy where the rights of the common people were fewer and the amount of taxes they paid greater than under the current mob rule we all suffer under.
