The right provides big pharma with billions in subsidies and refuses to bring down the price of pharmaceuticals. Americans pay ten times more for insulin than Canadians, and more for other drugs as well. Trump said he was going to force big pharma to bring down prices and he didn't do shit. Prices are still through the roof.

The government could easily, step in and impose price controls and other methods to significantly lower inflation, if not eradicate it completely.

Republicans hate the working class, often stripping workers of their rights and protections, preventing them from forming labor unions, which allow them to negotiate their terms of employment collectively, with their powerful, wealthy employers. Even Adam Smith, the father of capitalism admitted that capitalist-"masters" have a clear advantage when negotiating their terms of employment with workers:

Right-wing conservatives privatize everything, placing our nation's resources and infrastructure in the hands of billionaires. They hate public transit and love highways, where the fossil fuel industry generates billions of dollars in profits yearly. The more people are driving gas-guzzling cars the more money the oil and gas peddlers make, including their cronies in government, who hold stocks in these oil companies.

If a school lunch program is defunded, if single mothers can't get any assistance with child daycare, due to a government-run social program losing its funding, it's due to Republicans. They defund social programs, that serve the needs of the poor and working-class.

The Housing First program in Utah, which has done a great job of housing the homeless, is constantly under attack by Republican state legislators. They fail to realize that homelessness is actually more expensive than simply housing the homeless. Once a person is housed, they can get back on their feet, and become 100% self-sufficient and productive. While they're sleeping on a park bench or in a homeless shelter being eaten alive by bed bugs, hardly getting any sleep, they can't.

Several countries in the modern, industrialized world provided stipends to their citizens and bailed out private companies and they don't have inflation now. They have mixed economies and know how to regulate the market, unlike here where Republicans get in the way of properly regulating capitalism, preventing the government from doing its job of serving the public good.
