NBC News Video of Police Officer SHOOTING Ashley Babbit on Jan. 6th

How is it speculative? If one person gets through, others can too.

Yes, but she has to first get out of the way, then the larger people have to wiggle their way through, at the time she could have been detailed, and as we know 5 seconds later heavily armed SWAT style officers were there.

Fact check true.

And there was no warning from the officer. Nothing like "If you do not disperse I will be forced to open fire".

Not that that would make it OK, but this was just abysmal conduct on his part.

The asshole who forgot his gun in the restroom and shouldn't even have a badge to begin with.
Neat. Well he did it and he’s not going to be charged for killing her. Sucks for you huh?

Moral of the story: maybe it would have been wise not to try to lead a violent mob through a barricaded part of the building to get to our elected officials. How’s that for reality?

The Capitol Police should be disbanded, and U.S. Marshalls assigned to protect Congress. A police force like that, managed by Congress and only for the protection of Congress is destined to be staffed through nothing more than nepotism, affirmative action, and the spoils system. Since none of that has anything to do with competence and ability to do police work, we get what we saw on Jan 6.

Then of course, we have Dems suddenly professing to love police, and shreiking at anyone who offers any criticism of their policing.

But the officer had no knowledge of the "SWAT style" officers, so their presence is irrelevant.

You're bending over backwards here to ignore the obvious. More rioters can get through that window. That's a reasonable conclusion.

Reality: That officer was the ONLY member of law enforcement who deemed it necessary to use deadly force that day! Why? Why did he wait out of sight and then step out to shoot an unarmed female protester at point blank range?

Reality: Nobody in that "mob" was violent in any way towards police or any elected officials! They actually asked the police standing in front of the doorway to leave so they wouldn't be hurt and then allowed them to pass.

Liar, they were violently breaking through those doors and windows because they saw some lawmakers "getting away."

You say this:

And then want to preach to me about morals:

Get fucked.
Cry some more you little bitch. That’s the reality of the situation.

If you disagree then go try to pull the same crap that she did and watch how that turns out for you.

You mean the cold blooded assassination of an unarmed female protester? A woman who had served her country honorably in the Armed Forces? A woman who hadn't assaulted anyone?

It didn't matter that she turned out to be unarmed. She was part of a violent mob who were breaking through a police barricade to harm lawmakers. Capitol polices' job was to protect them by any means necessary and that's what that hero did.

Trump wanted the National Guard there. How do you blame him for security being totally botched by others?

He did? Then why didn't Trump call them up?

Ashli Babbitt's blood is on one man's hands. Michael Byrd. For some reason...he...and he alone...felt the need to shoot someone that day!

For "some" reason??

That "some" reason was because some lawmakers & staff were on one side of those doors and these assholes were on the other...

And yet even after seeing one of their own shot, they didn't do anything else, to the shooter or the other officers.

She took like 5-10 seconds to get through, it was edged with broken glass, and she was small.

How would those people "pour" through?

LOL

What else were they gonna do when they finally realized police weren't fucking around? Get themselves shot? Or back the fuck down.

Thanks for that. I never realized that the police were so close behind the rioters when the shot was fired. Why did the shooter not wait for that backup that was seconds away?

It's lucky that none of the rioters found any of the pistols that Capitol Police keep leaving in public bathrooms. That could have turned into a far worse bloodbath.

The police were not that close behind her. There was only one cop right behind her. 6 others were leaving and were around the corner, heading downstairs.

Liar, that mob was warned to get back. A pity she didn't listen.

They took it down for about 10 minutes last night.

I later acknowledged it was back up.

You're late to the party "Faun".

P.S. Are you one of those "Furries"?

LOLOL
Suuuure they did. :abgg2q.jpg:

That page has been there for over 2 years but they just took it down when you looked at it. :cuckoo:

Too bad they don't have this video, of the cops politely escorting out the "IIIIIINSSSSURECTIONISTS!!!" (tm)

"Thank you officer".

Wow, ANTIFA they are not.

Hey Lefties: You've been taken for fools.

Now you can either do the adult thing and face this harsh reality, or you can double down on stupid.

Let's just say I'm not exactly in suspense on this one.

If someone stole your car and returned it to you with a "thank you Rhody", would that make a difference to you?

The shot was fired at about 00:29 in the video. The group of police officers coming up the stairs are visible at about 00:37. Eight seconds.

If you say that eight seconds isn't "that close," fine. I understand it's an opinion so I won't say "prove it!" since that would make me sound like a moron.

By waiting nine seconds, that idiot could have avoided killing a person for breaking a window.
