Seems to me that's a reflection and reaction of your own-selves. It's always easiest to portray it onto someone else when you can't stand what you see in your own reflection.

Yeah, as a white guy in my nearly exclusively white hood I'm constantly in fear of being gunned down in the street by white criminal thugs because I was simply going about my business.
