The latest PPP Poll from North Carolina shows Donald Trump extending his lead in the state. Ben Carson comes in second with 23% and Carly Fiorina has collapsed from last month landing at 6%, with less than half her previous favorability and double the unfavorability. Candidate Jeb Bush also takes a severe step backwards.( POLL DATA ) In NC Trump's actually improved from 26% to 31% in last month. 52/35 fav basically identical to 53/36 in September

The media and Republican establishment tried to capitalize on the Iowa poll that shows Carson ahead, thinking they could "talk down" Trumps momentum but Iowa always reflects the evangelical vote, which doesn't mean anything after that.
