Now they're going after Columbus!

Commie cocksuckers have vandalized 2 statues of Christopher Columbus. They want Civil War, they're going to get it

Christopher Columbus statues toppled in Richmond, beheaded in Boston

When they went after Confederate Statues I told you it was only the beginning. BTW this is not a "now they are going after Columbus". They have been defacing Columbus, Washington and Plymouth Pilgrim statues for three years. The Democrats hate you, your family and your country with an intensity that you, a decent person, cant comprehend (to your credit).
Is it true that Columbus cut off the hands of American Indians it they did return with gold?

No, Columbus never stepped foot on the continental US

This is how stupid leftists are
True story..Columbus was looking for China..thought he found India...and discovered...Puerto Rico! He landed on Hispaniola..stayed for a bit..came back on his next expedition..almost everyone dead! Seems they all died of disease.

Columbus..was lost!

In Hispaniola, Columbus’ first stop in the Americas, the native Taino population (an indigenous Arawak people) had no immunity to new infectious diseases, including smallpox, measles and influenza. There were an estimated 250,000 indigenous people in Hispaniola in 1492. By 1517, only 14,000 remained.
Some historians say the impact of European and African settlers in the New World was more destructive than the Black Death had been in medieval Europe, possibly killing off as much as 90 percent of the native populations.
Europeans did not walk away unscathed, however. The visitors to the Americas also contracted a number of diseases, including tuberculosis and an extremely virulent syphilis. When explorers returned to Europe, the diseases went with them and ran rampant on the populace of the Old World.

Why are you so upset and beside yourself over this OP? Columbus isn't someone to celebrate.

I'm here now, that's all that matters.
No, you‘re definitely ... “not all there.”
Not only that, you’re stuck in a Florida of your own imagination,
waving a fake flag that is not now, nor ever has been,
nor ever will be ... the official flag of the Sunshine State.

If it never has been, how come it was? That's a real Florida flag, boy.

Maybe circa 1985, but at that that time it was the flag of the state.
Back before SJW assholes were even a thing. SJW assholes like you. They gave you an inch and you took a mile. You need a gator blowjob.

I have already shown you links that prove that is not true. It never was, is not now, and never will be more than a masturbatory fantasy of yours.

Maine has already renamed Columbus Day "Indigenous Peoples Day"
I absolutely hate this new name. It's pretentious and too much of a mouthful.
Yes, Columbus was a prick who murdered and enslaved the native population he found in "India," the dumb asshole. But he was first, so leave it the fuck alone. If he hadn't done it, some other prick looking for loot to plunder would have stumbled over it eventually. It would be great to have a national holiday celebrating Native Americans, but the name SUCKS and why choose the day that was the beginning of their end? March hasn't got a national holiday. Let's put a Native American holiday there and leave old Columbus where he is. That's the weekend everyone closes up their summer cottages. It's an important three day weekend. And the Italians love it, even though some think Columbus was actually Spanish--from Castille.
Technically Columbus never murdered or enslaved anyone. His discovery just made murder and enslavement possible.. Columbus was entirely Italian who just got the throne of Spain to finance the expedition.

When will the California missions be torn down? They were all built with slave labor.

In his journal, Columbus didn’t mince words about his intentions after meeting the Arawak natives in the Bahamas in 1492. He described the encounter thusly: “They ... brought us parrots and balls of cotton and spears and many other things ... They willingly traded everything they owned ... They were well-built, with good bodies and handsome features .... They do not bear arms, and do not know them, for I showed them a sword, they took it by the edge and cut themselves out of ignorance. They have no iron. Their spears are made of cane. ... They would make fine servants. ... With fifty men we could subjugate them all and make them do whatever we want.” Columbus would add: “As soon as I arrived in the Indies, on the first Island which I found, I took some of the natives by force in order that they might learn and might give me information of whatever there is in these parts.”

Slavery and gold

Columbus had two goals in the Caribbean: to find gold and slaves. Columbus returned home to Spain and came back to the Caribbean with 17 ships and 1,200 men. His men traveled from island to island, taking Indians as captives. In 1495, in a large slave raid, Columbus and his men rounded up 1,500 Arawak men, women, and children, and put them in pens. They selected what they considered the best natives and loaded them onto ships back to Spain. Two hundred died en route. After the survivors were sold as slaves in Spain, Columbus later wrote: "Let us in the name of the Holy Trinity go on sending all the slaves that can be sold."
Thank you for confirming. Columbus had no slaves.

The article I read said there were two Christopher Columbus-s. One in Florence, and one in Spain, who were both seamen and whatever else made them possibilities. This article, which was carefully researched, concluded that the Christopher Columbus in Florence was the wrong guy and it was Christopher Columbus of Castille who found America. I couldn't find that particular article, but here's one with a somewhat similar theory. (Scroll down to the section on Spain). All interesting!

Thank you for confirming. Columbus had no slaves.
Why do I even bother?
What part of this is difficult for you to understand?

Stfu. You have no blacks there, no hispanics. You have no clue, white bread!
I apologize, but that's reality.
Pray tell, what do blacks have to do with a single word I said?
Idk, I just call it like it is. Are you saying you have something against blacks? I know for a fact, some are going to have to be my allies against these commies or we're all fucked.
They will realize that, and I know this.
We're gonna kick these commie's asses and restore America. Is that OK by you, OldLady ?
I was commenting on Columbus.
You go kick your mythical commies' asses and then come back and tell us how you did, Walter Mitty.

Which slaves did Columbus retain for his own? From what you wrote it looks like none.

The enemy democrats should be tearing apart the California missions. They were all built with slave labor.

Under the courtyard of San Juan Capistrano is a mass grave of hundreds of indians that were massacred when the mission was completed.

Surely that would have to go.

You can internet all you want, but I know reality, and that was never like that before at least 1988 . Before that, it's the flag in my signature.

I looked too, and the internet is lying.

That's a real Florida flag in my signature, before the SJWs got to the state house or whatever.
You can choose to believe what you want to, but I know what I know.

Fucking douchebags try to erase history on the internet and everything. But before I was 17, that flag in my signature flew at the county courthouse and throughout Florida all day every day. I ain't bullshittin'.

After Marion's drunken warning, I rushed to Google to see if my dear Thomas Jefferson had been disrespected. A few people with spray paint had their way with him on two college campuses in Virginia. Now, this is vandalism I can live with. Sticky notes:

Minor point. He just trafficked in them. lol
But I have read accounts that the natives that were enslaved by Columbus and their crew were used to build their quarters. Many of his men stayed there when he returned to Spain.
