Lying doesn't really help what little case you are capable of making. The IG report did not say that there was no partisanship involved in this, that would have required a degree of dishonesty that the IG is incapable of, what it said is that the employees that it discovered denied any outside political influence was involved. Since the report only covered one office, and this seems to be an agency wide phenomenon, there sill might be some political influence lurking somewhere.

As for the AP, it doesn't matter how many people agree with Obama if he is wrong, and he was.
