Did Command Sergeant Major Walz serve during wartime?

The question was asked if Walz served during wartime. Yes. or No?

That is a misleading question .. he was deployed during wartime, but not anywhere close to a war zone. The real question would be, did he deploy to a war zone, like he said he did. He could have been deployed to a war zone, but decided to leave the military.

Attacks are accusing Walz of feigning a record in active combat: "[Walz] said - and he was making a point about gun control - he said, ‘we shouldn't allow weapons that I used in war, to be on America's streets.' "Well, I wonder (said JD Vance), Tim Walz, when you ever in war?"

Vance has been exposed actually misquoting Walz in one of his screeds.

In the clip Vance was referencing, Walz says that he "carried" weapons in war, not "used." Given that Operation Enduring Freedom was a part of the post-9/11 War on Terror, and that Walz was deployed to Italy under it - and likely had a service weapon - the claim that he is engaging in "stolen valor" holds little water.

Vance spoke on Wednesday as if he served more honorably than Walz, noting that he went to Iraq "I did it, I did what they asked me to do and I did it honorably," he said The senator was deployed for six months in Iraq as a combat correspondent in 2005 as part of the Marines' Public Affairs office. He - like Walz - never engaged in active combat and has stated that he was "lucky to escape any real fighting," during his deployment.

"Though Walz did achieve the rank of command sergeant major, it was a provisional rank until he completed required coursework for senior leaders, National Guard officials said. He did not do so by the time he departed the military and his retirement rank reverted to master sergeant on May 15, 2005, officials said."

The people-of-the-cult need to stop disrespecting military men and women in order to go after Walz

Walz is not a Command Master Sergeant. He was demoted after he didn't complete the eligibility requirements for his temporary E-9 status and has a retirement pay grade of E-8.

Nope.

Walz never lied like that. You provide credible links and Walz will have to go.
Walz endorsed a book, Winning the Wellstone Way, about strategizing as a progressive politician, and the piece about Walz covered his deployment to Afghanistan. He has most definitely embellished his military service.

Listen you simps, this thing AIN'Tt gonna work.

If you stupid idiots want to continue down this line of attack, then by all means, proceed.

Americans AREN'T falling for it THIS time.

Not sure what "falling for this" means .. it's an effective strategy, as we saw in 2004, about politicians that embellish or misrepresent their service -- which Walz has done. It demonstrates his character. Another effective strategy is to focus on his policies and positions as Governor of Minnesota and how he handled chaos during the 2020 riots.

Good luck!

If you were a soldier, deployed overseas to Operation Enduring Freedom, during the Afghan war, did you serve your Country in war? Are you eligible for war time benefits of the Military?

I was in PR, which is considered overseas, and provided support for Desert Storm, did I serve in war? The answer is no, only those that actually deployed to the area of operations did. That mean you have to be where the fighting is.

Walk lied AND abandoned the men he was supposed to lead

What lie?

He and his battalion was deployed and sent overseas for Operation Enduring Freedom, which is a WARTIME mission.....

Silly one.

The people that served at Ramstein AFB in Germany and treated the wounded did as well, that doesn't mean they carried weapons or did any fighting.
