I don’t get the consternation. Democrats will remove the filibuster and then, as lame ducks, will replace it. After they’ve done substantial damage while it’s removed.

This is simply a case of Sinema representing the people in her district over the wishes of her party exactly as she was elected to do. The problem seems to be the current Democratic party wants diversity in everything but opinion. There are a couple more Democratic senators who would simply vote for the party and not for the wants of their constituents on this issue. This problem occurs in both parties, but seems to be more prevalent on the left.

I am not surprised at the hate the Democrats have for their own if they break ranks.
