Hopefully ... establishment Republicans (Democrats) are on the way out and wisdom and the responsible adults will take over... otherwise, the country is screwed over for some time to come...

No, it's more often the conservative Republicans not registering as Republican anymore and changing to "independent" which is rather misleading because when you think of "independent" people usually think "moderate" but that's really not the case anymore
