If we measure success in a presidency we ought to measure how well a leader did the following:
-Improved life for his citizens
-Improved the influence of his country around the world
-Achieved domestic and foreign goals generally agreed on
-Achieved a high level of transparency and honesty
On those measures Obama is the worst president ever. And I include presidents like Baby Doc Duvalier and idi Amin Dada. The average citizen is worse off in the US today than the day Bush left office. Our influence is greatly diminished today. Obama could no more put together a coalition like Bush did on Iraq than he could kiss David Duke on the lips. Germany just expelled our chief spy. Poland's foreign minister said openly Obama couldn't be believed. The level in secrecy and dishonesty is off the charts. The only scandal we have not seen is open bribery. And only because no one has asked the question or delved much into it.
